I don't know when it started, but I notice that if I leave a farm without collecting my bonus, I can return to that farm and collect the bonus provided I have not done any work on another farm in the meantime.

Also, this morning one of my hires had to reload the game to refuel (his fuel tank icon had disappeared and the game told him he needed to have fuel-using tools before he could refuel). When I rehired him from the marketplace after he did this, his uncompleted bonus was waiting for him. He was able to finish the farm he had been working on and collect the full bonus.

Nifty!

Edited to add: I wonder if this will help with the "can't get the bonus because I can't get all the fish" scenario? If you move to another farm them immediately come back, the remaining fish should be rearranged as if you reloaded the same farm. Hmm.

Edited to add: Yes, it does. Took my hire three tries but he got all the fish and all the crops and claimed the full bonus.

Edited to add: Don't need to go to another farm - clicking the current farm in the farm selector to refresh it works too.
