OFFICIAL Issues with Registering your Email to your FarmTown Account

Hi. 2 Questions: 1) If someone did not bother to write down their password and has forgotten it, will they have an option when the site is up and running to recover/change their password. #2) I have been using the new site for a week, and I love it. They have done amazing things. Although it is not at 100%, and I still have to jump over to the FB version for some things, is the actual word from the DEVS that we are NOT to use the new site?

We think they will have a way to recover the password in some way.

The new site is being tested and as you said it is not at 100% and changing so it is up to farmers if they want to use it.

I can never find how to find where to post on here. My question is I registered with my email but did not write down the pass word. Can I retrieve it from you? Or how do I log out to find out if the password I think I used is the right one?

Hi kofe2005,

You will have to wait until the devs say that the website is ready for everyone to try it officially. Right now it's still being worked on. Things keep changing and not all of those changes can be seen. We can't give out any details about the website as they may not stay that way.

I wouldn't try anything just yet so if you have been playing on the website and find you can't get back into it you will have to use the Facebook version in the meantime.

At the time that website is officially available to everyone, more details will be provided and are likely to be in a new release thread so keep an eye out for those and any updates to those.

Hello I tried to sign into the new site and this is what I am receiving even though I entered my email and password 5x the same
Signed into this https://apps.slashkey.com/farmtown//login
what I am receiving Incorrect Email or Password.
What should I do as I do NOT want to lose everything I have done with this farm since 2009 and this is for both of my accounts that I have played for the same length of time
It also has my account isn't linked but it should be how does a person link it? Figured how to link but now what do I do to ensure my both farms transfer?

I moved your post to the Help & Support thread about the login for the new website. The only way you would be getting the incorrect email or password would be you are entering it incorrectly.

Do not worry about the account linking as that was an attempt to use that for the Facebook game and did not always work.

Hi, I could use some assistance in registering my account.

I'm not sure if this is just an issue I'm having or if other cell phone users may be have similar issues.
I play solely from my cell. The issue I have is that when I click dialog boxes. In the game they don't prompt my cellular keyboard to come up sp I can type. This keeps from being able to enter a password to secure my account.
I'm not asking the game be revamped on my account, just assistance making sure my account gets secured, before game leave FB.

I am sorry, but Farm Town really doesn't support play on the cell phone. It could be the browser you are using that does not support a keyboard. The only thing I can suggest is try loading in a different browser. You will need to be able to enter the email address and password any time you play the game from the website.

Hi gogga,
I moved your post to the thread about registering your farms.
Did you complete the registration when it was presented for you to do with an email and a password?
If you did you will have to use that if you can remember it until they can include a way to change it. If you can get into your farms on Facebook then look for your account ID at the bottom of your farms. You can use that instead of the email address to log into the website farms. Still with the same password.
If you don't remember the password you will need to wait until they add the forgot password link to allow you to fix that.
