Hi:

Congratulations!!! Great job in getting the HTML5 for Farm Town!!!

I have tried the new HTML5 when loading my farms. The farm loaded in alright, but the neighbours' tab down at the bottom of the screen would not load any neighbours. All blanks in there.

So, I guess there is still some work to be done before we can use it. I will wait for another few days for the conversion. The Flash Player seems to still be working right now.

This thread is for any general questions about the new version.

In the following link the the 1st post on page one will give you the latest details from the developers about what is currently in the new version. That thread is for reporting issues with anything that is currently available to use in the new version, not for asking about what is not available yet.

Once you've read both of those posts, you should be back up to date with what is currently happening with the HTML5 version.

If/when can we expect to see larger text? Even with my glasses I can't read in the HTML5 mode. I had to have my Mac's motherboards replaced and no longer can download flash.

The developers are looking into changing the text to make it more readable.

Congratulations to the Devs and their team for a smooth, well done transition. I am using the new version and so far, everything is working fine (except NCC of course). The graphics and text appear clear and bright, all the quests are fine and trains and ships work perfectly for me. What a great Job. Thank you so much

Hi dorisau,
Quests, ships and trains are only working in the Flash version. They have not been added to the new version yet.

I knew I should not have said anything.. was using new version, but it reloaded and went back to Flash without my noticing. Rats.. I thought it was good.

So far this sucks especially with so many features disabled. How do you expect us to want to play this game if you have the Facility Manager and Facility Chains Manager disabled. When will these be activated?

Hi Rock24B,

If you read all the information in the first post on page one, then you would see that moving the game to the new platform has been problematic and those problems were not quick to resolve. They also stated that the new version would be a restricted version some months ago.

The developers will add them back as they have time to do them and will likely announce what they have added in the new release threads as they get them done. We can not give you any specific times or dates. All you can do is either see what's currently there each day or keep an eye on the News and Announcements threads and check the 1st post for any updates from the developers.
