OFFICIAL Decorations

OK, so I'm bored and rearranging on my farms. Placed the Business and Retail Building from the Farm Pass on a farm and trying to place "people" around it. Wondering why some "people" will stand ON the decoration and others won't? See screenshot. The "people" that AREN'T ON the Business & Retail Center won't allow me to place them there. Guessing this is just the game being picky?

Hi Lisa,
It depends on where on the decoration or any large item you are trying to place the people. It is designed so one end of the building is higher than the other so only one end can have things placed upon them. There is nothing that can be done to change this as that way they can be stacked/overlapped over each other.

Hi Shannt,
Only the developers know when they will be released. They do not tell us in advance of when they will release them. I am sure it will be soon.

I don't use the seasonal decorations, but when exchange for useful items, they do not change, after I have, very frustrating and time consuming

I just exchanged some halloween decors for other gifts and had no problems.

Are you trying the Exchange all option or only exchange those manually one by one?

Just in case, try clearing your memcache, link below. A new window will open with a short list of unsettings. Close that window and your farms in all tabs you have it open.
Then reopen the game.

Just bought the animated mummy Halloween decoration. I could have sworn someone said animations don't work in the game since the migration. Am I missing something? The mummy isn't animating. I'm confused.

I moved your post to the thread about Decorations.

You are right. We only have static decors as the animated items have not been worked on yet. Only the developers know when they will get to work on those.

A freind of mine has what she says is snow on her farm and it 'fills' the air. Is this possible? If so, can it be deleted?

Hi rockcandymountain,

There is a decoration called Falling Snow. It can be tricky to highlight to store or delete, the same thing can happen with rain and some other decor that is part transparent.

If she has placed a lot of them or placed them over a lot of items it can be even more tricky to highlight.

See if she is able to do this:

Ask her to remove the check marks for everything in preferences except seasonal decor, refresh the farm or reload it, then use the search tool, type in falling snow and use Hide non-matching items. Then she should only be able to see that decoration. She will need to slowly move her mouse over the falling snow until it turns yellow.

It's then up to her what method she wants to use to remove it, store, sell or delete it. If she has placed a lot of them but does own things like an excavator (deletes) or tower crane (stores) it may be easier to use one of those tools to remove all of them at once rather than trying to do one at a time.
