Are you using a saved bookmark in your browser to load the game?
Please try closing the game where it is open in your browser and then use the Play in Farmtown button at the top of the forum to load the game and see if you still have access to use Items in their Item storage.

You can also try clearing your FT memcache. To do that Click Here. A window will open with a list of "unsetting", that is the memcache being cleared. Close that window and FT if you have it open in another window. Then reload and see if that corrects it.

If after trying those, you are still able to plant trees from their Item storage, even if it's only one by one, please report this to the support team.

To be able to use the Multi Planters that you or they own you need to have the permission to design a specific farm and also have the permission to "Allow buying and Selling with my coins". With those tools and permissions you can use the farm owners coins to buy and plant trees that are unlocked for their level in the store.

I do have both permissions to design the farm and to buy and plant trees! The owner has saved them from her various farms and I am replanting them on her newest farm sorted by height. I just can not load them from her storage other than 1 by 1. The same is true for buying trees - - - only 1 by 1.

Hi perryalexander,

If she stored the trees then as her Super Neighbour, you should not be able to open her storage and put them back on the farm for her. Only the farm owner should be able to see what they have in storage and get those back out. Not the Super Neighbour.

What wrong is two issues:

1. If you have the permissions to design the farm she wants trees on and permission to use her coins then you should be able to BUY new trees from the store using the multi planters that you or she owns.
   
   
2. You should NOT be able to get any of her trees out of her Item Storage. When you are on her farms and open Item Storage you should not be seeing her storage. You should not be able to put those trees that are in her storage on her farms for her. When you open Item Storage on while you are on someone else's farm you should only be able to view what you have in your own Item Storage, not what she has.

Please try the rest of what I suggested to you, to try to fix this. We can see that you have not run memcache yet.

If after you have done those, you still have the exact same problem, then you need to report this to the support team.

I did as you asked and ran the clear cache again, now I was able to use MY purchase tool to complete the top row of trees.

After selecting the last option under the green hand tool, I could still only plant her trees 1 by 1. Picture attached.

You do not use the purple hand. You need to click on the multiplanter which will take you to the store list of trees.

I wanted to plant her stored trees, not buy more! I got them and planted a few hundred more 1 by 1. Several thousands on her farm so far: 1 by 1.

I click on the button at the bottom of the green hand menu and can see or use every item she has in storage. Why else would the programmers have put that on the menu if it was not to be used.

There isn't a menu for the green hand.
There is only 1 on the purple hand. You are correct that you can use that to get to their item storage. But that will only let you use 1 item at a time from their storage. You can not use the multi-planter from that, because you are holding the purple hand which can only use 1 item at a time.
That is the only way you can use items from their storage.
If you click on a multiplanter it takes you to the store. There isn't a way for that tool type to take you to their storage.

I referenced the wrong color - should have been purple or the bottom one.

I am sorry to have bothered you searching for something does not yet exist.

I will just plod along doing what I can, 1 by 1, to give her what I promised: A farm of 4-day trees planted from the tallest to the shortest.
