Mobile Lookout Tower

This tool improves your Show Work Info information.
When using it and clicking on a farm to go to in the Go to Farm Window, your farm selector grid will show a blue colour on each farm that has work on it.
It also reduces the time that your farm content information for your own farms will update from 10 minutes to 5 minutes, whether you are on your farm or at the market.

You will also be able to use Show Work Info as a Super Neighbour for a farmer to see more detailed visibility on of their farm work content.

• To enable the benefits of the tool after purchasing, add the Mobile Lookout Tower to your Item storage.
  It will not use any of your Item Storage Capacity.
  Unlike the majority of the farming tools available to use on farms in Farm Town you do not need to click on the Mobile Lookout Tower to use it, so you will NOT see the tool in your yellow toolbox.
  
  
• To be able to use Show Work Info you will need to own at least 4 farms.
  
  
• When used for your own farm content, after viewing SHow Work Info and you click on a farm in the Go To Farms window your farm selector grid will update and indicate with a blue colour which farm have work on them which can be very useful when you have a lot of farms. As you visit each farm that has a blue colour in the grid, the color will change back to green.
  
  This tool also reduces the waiting time to pull updated work information from 10 to 5 minutes.
  
  
  
• When using Show Work Info as a Super Neighbour, you will need to own the tool AND your Super Neighbour will need to own at least 4 farms. Their farm work content will still only update every 10 minutes when they do not own the tool.
  
  
• If you do not own the Mobile Lookout Tower you can use Show Work Info to see where your own farm work is but your farm grid does not update and you do not have the shorter wait times to update the Show Work Info information for your own farms.
  You will not have access to be able to use Show Work Info as a Super Neighbour.

Show Work Info is accessed by clicking on SHOW NAMES at the top of the farm selector grid which is located towards the top left of your game screen.

On your own farms, each of your farms is green or olive green in the grid.
In this example the farmer has 28 farms, is on farm 1 and farm 19 is not fertilised.
Olive green means the farm is feritlised.
Yellow indicates the farm you are on.
As you mouseover each farm it changes to yellow with a red outline making it easier for you to click on the correct farm that you want to go to.




As a Super Neighbour, when going to a farmer farms that you need to work, the farm selector grid then changes to the farm owners farm selector grid and will initially show all of their farms with a blue colour.


At this stage you would not know if there is work on every farm, you would have to go to each farm to check them for work.

When you own the mobile lookout tower, to get the farm selector grid to update (your farms or the farm you are a super neighbour for), mouse over the farm selector grid and click on SHOW NAMES

You will then see a much bigger window titled Go to Farm

At the bottom right is Show Work Info, click on it.

In this case the farmer is viewing show work info for another farmer where they have super neighbour permissions, but the farm owner does not own the mobile lookout so at the bottom of the window you see a brief notification that you can pull up the information again in 10 minutes instead of 5 minutes.

The Show Work info Legend top left tells you what the colours mean. You can mouse over them to see the tooltip for each of them.

FP - Field to Plow.
SP - Seeds to Plant.
CH - Crops to Harvest.
FH - Flowers to Harvest.
TH - Trees to Harvest.
TC - Trees to Chop.
F - Fish to catch.
All - is the default and shows all Items.



To Update the farm selector grid, click on a farm in the Go to Farm window that has work on it. If you are not already on that farm it will take you to the farm you clicked on.
Then the farm selector grid will update with blue for every farm that has work.....like this:



Farm 1 is yellow indicating which farm you are on.
Farm 2,3,6,7,9,10 and 12 are blue so there is also work on those farms.
The red dot on farm 5 indicates that you have design permissions for that specific farm. You may be helping them to alter it.

As you go farm to farm the blue will change back to green.

If you have permissions to do all work, but for some reason you only wanted to do a specific job, or the farm owner has requested they only wanted one type of work doing that day, you can also use Show Work Info to show you just the farms with that type of work on it.

To do this:

• Click on Show Names in the farm selector grid top left.
• Click on Show Work Info.
• In the Legend click on the job that needs to be done and the window will update only show you those farms.
  You can then click on the name of the farm you want to work first and your farm selector grid will update.
  
  In this example the farmer has clicked on CH to only show farms with crops to harvest.
  Then the farmer also clicked on Farm 1 to go to it.
  The farm selector grid has updated to show only farms with crops that are ready to harvest.
  There is also a brief notification showing the option you selected.
  In this case the farmer has all permissions so those Fields that are ready to harvest could be just harvested or harvested & plowed or they could harvest, plow and plant them.

Q: What are the Super Storage Sheds?

A: These tools increase your ITEM Storage capacity only, NOT your Harvests & Products Storage.



Super Storage Shed (Red) doubles your item storage capacity.

Super Storage Shed (Orange) increases your item storage x 4.

Super Storage Shed (Green) increases your item storage x 6.

Super Storage Shed (Purple) increases your item storage x 8.

Are there tools for working overlapped fields?

Yes there are the EX Tools. These tools use a faster method of working on EXISTING fields.

• You must own all the relevant single layer tools up to 16x16 before you can by these tools.
  
  
• Tools for working overlapped crops ALWAYS have Ex in the name of the tool in the Store.
  There are...
  Ex Seeders
  Ex Harvesters
  Ex Combine Harvest-Plow tools
  Ex Combine Harvest-Plant tools
  
  These tools have both Highlight Mode and Extent Mode.
  
  
• There are NO EX Plow tools. You can not use these tools to create overlapped plots.
  Overlapping fields is still not officially supported by the developers.
  However if you do it on your farms or are working for other famers that overlap their crops these tools will help with working those overlapped fields faster. This method of working on exiting overlapped fields is very similar to using the Tree Shaker 20x20 to harvest up to 400 trees, or using the Fishing Turbo Boat 20 x 20 to harvest up to 400 overlapped water items in a squared area.

When using one of the EX tools instead of the Eye in the bottom right of the game screen, above your yellow toolbox, you will see the picture of the tool you have clicked on. This example is showing the EX 5x5 Combine.

When you click on the picture of your tool located above your yellow toolbox you will see a vertical toolbar with 3 options, that you can click on.
The White X at the bottom of the options just closes the menu.



The TOP icon, HIGHLIGHT MODE, changes to the tool to using the single layer method of highlighting each individual item. The amount it will highlight is determined by the size of single layer tool you also own. For example if you owned the 32x32 single layer tools you could highlight up to 1024 crops. If you only owned the 20x20 single layer crop tools you could highlight up to 400 crops.



When you use this method you will briefly see "Highlight mode selected" in white lettering near the top of the game screen.



The MIDDLE icon, EXTENT MODE, changes to the tool to using the New Method of using a YELLOW BOX to indicate a selected area of the farm. Anything within that YELLOW box will be worked on.

Extent method selects specific areas of a farm to work on with less manual mistakes then the highlight mode as you don't have to be as accurate with aligning the tool as it works on all crops within the yellow box. When using this method you will briefly see "Extent mode selected" in white lettering near the top of the game screen.
The tool will always operate as if the Eye was closed, meaning, the recently worked items will be hidden once the work on them is completed.

These tools can work up to 400 overlapped plots in a squared area the size of 5x5 with one click.

This tool will let you harvest up to 400 overlapped fields with one click. You must own the 16x16 Harvester before you can buy this tool.

This tool will let you plant up to 400 overlapped fields with one click. You must own the 16x16 Seeder before you can buy this tool.

Combine Harvest-Plow Ex (5x5)

This tool will let you harvest and plow up to 400 overlapped fields with one click. You must own the Combine Harvest-Plow 16x16 and the Harvester Ex (5x5) before you can buy this tool.

To use these tools, place all tools into your Storage. That way you can access all your tools from the Yellow Tool box, on any of your farms, without having to move the tool from farm to farm. Once they are in Storage, you can click on the Yellow Toolbox to open it, and then click on the tool you want to use.
NOTE: Farm Cash Tools do not count towards your storage capacity, you can store as many of those as you want.


When you own at least one Combine Harvest-Plant tool, if you often plant more than one different crop on a farm or perhaps may have a farm with many different crops on it for Quest purposes and replant the same crops on it often, you may also like the upgrade to these tools. The upgrade enables a replant method so that you do not have to keep selecting different crops when you are planting the exact same ones. Q: What is the Flower Freezer - Unfreezer Tool?



A: This tool allows you to freeze or unfreeze flowers in bulk instead of one by one.
Note: Super Neighbours can NOT use this tool on your farms. You must own the tool yourself and freeze/unfreeze flowers yourself.


There are 3 options. .

• Freeze only those flowers that you planted in the current session
• Freeze all flowers by type e.g all Carnations
• Freeze all flowers on this farm

Click on the tool and then click on a flower you want to freeze/unfreeze. You will then see the following menu giving you the options. . .



At the top of the box choose whether you want to Freeze or Unfreeze.
Choose one of the three other options you want and then click the Green check mark to proceed.

Note: Frozen flowers will still die if not watered, but they will return to their glory in the first water once they've died. This means you can always bring back dead flowers by simply re-watering them!

Irrigating rather than watering a frozen flower will revert the growth process to the beginning again and they will have to regrow.

Q. What are the Overhead Cranes for?
A. The Overhead Cranes automatically load the products in ships in your seaport with one click and send them on their way. For your own ships, they also allow you to Self Load your ship a set amount of times, if it has been stuck at a port for the minimum specified time.

There are 7 Overhead Cranes, one for each colour ship.




You must buy the Overhead Cranes in order. To buy the Overhead Crane Orange, you must first own the Overhead Crane Blue. To buy the Overhead Crane Green you must own the Overhead Crane Blue AND the Overhead Crane Orange and so on.

When you own all the Overhead Cranes you will be able to Load ALL of the ships in your Seaport with just one click.

These tools must be placed in your Item Storage to work fully and enable the Self Loading part of the tool. Once they are there, you don't have to do anything else with them, the game will recognize which ones you own. If you wish to have some of them on your farm for decoration then once you have purchased each one you can buy a duplicate for coins. These tools do NOT show up in your Toolbox as you do not need to click on the tool to use them.



How does the Overhead Crane work?

Each Overhead Crane owned will enable you to load any ship of the same colour with one click per ship instead of up to 11 clicks per ship. When you hover over the ship, instead of a black Enter Ship button you will see a blue Load Ship button. Clicking the Load All loads the ship and it it disappears from your seaport. Example:




When you own all the Overhead Cranes this activates the Load All button located at the top left of the Seaport Manager, in the My Seaport section. When you click that, ALL ships that are showing in your port at that time, will be automatically loaded and sent on to the next port. When there are no ships left in your Port the Load All button greys out.

If you do not own all the cranes the Load All button top left will be greyed out. As long as any Overhead Cranes you own are in your Item storage you can click Load All, even when it's greyed out, and you will see a popup telling you what you need to enable it. If you own any of the Overhead Cranes and they are in your Item storage the ones you own will show up in the popup and the ones you don't (or are not in your item storage) will be greyed out. Example:

If one of your ships has been stuck at a port for a long time and you own the relevant Overhead Crane, you can Self Load the products at the port it is stuck at in order to send it on to the next port. Each Overhead Crane has a set amount of Self Loads available per trip and the ship has to be stuck for a set amount of time before you can Self Load.

Note: You can not Self Load the last Port on the ships itinerary.

• Blue Ship (needs Overhead Crane Blue) - Self Load up to 1 port after being stuck for 60 mins
• Orange Ship (needs Overhead Crane Orange) - Self Load up to 2 ports after being stuck for 50 mins
• Green Ship (needs Overhead Crane Green) - Self Load up to 3 ports after being stuck for 40 mins
• Purple Ship (needs Overhead Crane Purple) - Self Load up to 4 ports after being stuck for 30 mins
• Brown Ship (needs Overhead Crane Brown)- Self Load up to 5 ports after being stuck for 20 mins
• Pink Ship (needs Overhead Crane Pink) - Self Load up to 6 ports after being stuck for 10 mins
• Yellow Ship (needs Overhead Crane Yellow) - Self Load up to 7 ports any time you want

To Self Load: Look in the My Ships section of the Seaport Manager, open the Ship that is stuck at a port and then open the Ships Logbook.

If you own the relevant Overhead Crane for the ship and it has been stuck there for the minimum set time and you have self loads left to use, instead of Skip Port you will see Load Ship:



When you click Load Ship you will see a popup telling you what you are about to do and with which colour Overhead Crane and how many chances you will have left if you choose to proceed. Click the green check mark to proceed or the red X to cancel. Example:



If you don't see Load Port and and see Skip Port instead, look and see if there is a small crane showing above Skip Port. If you hover your mouse over Skip Port it will tell you how many chances you have left to Self Load that ship and if there is a time you need to wait until you can Self Load.

If there is no Crane icon showing above Skip Port and no information when you hover your mouse over it then you have used them all up.

Q. What are the Trading Advertising Banners?

A. The Trading Advertising Banners increase your Trading limits for buying and selling regular products in the Trading Warehouse. They also reduce your Trade period time.

For information about the Trading Warehouse click on What is the Trading Warehouse?



There are 4 Trading Advertising Banners.

You must buy the Trading Advertising Banners in order.
To buy the Trading Advertising Banner - M, you must first own the Trading Advertising Banner -S.
To buy the Trading Advertising Banner L you must own the Trading Advertising Banner - M and so on.


To receive the benefits you must place these tools into Item storage.
Once they are there, you don't have to do anything else with them, the game will recognize which ones you own and when you create a sale offer in your warehouse it will update the limits to your new amount. These tools do NOT show up in your Toolbox as you do not need to click on the tool to use them.

If you wish to have some of them on your farm for decoration then once you have purchased each one you can buy a duplicate for coins.

Farm Cash tools do not use any of your Item Capacity Limit.

What is the Crop Replanter Implement?





Owning the The Crop Replanter Implement will enable replanting existing ready to harvest crops
or wasted crops with the same crops and quantities that are on a farm.

This tool uses fuel for the harvest and plant part of the work.
This tool can NOT replant a harvested plot or a plowed plot.
It has no way to know what was previously planted before the crop was harvested.

• You will also be able to replant the same crops using any size Combine Harvest-Plant tools that you own, including the EX versions for working overlapped crops faster.
  
  
• You can still use the combines you own the normal way without using Replant.
  
  
• You don not have to Replant an entire farm, you can also replant a portion of it.
  
  
• You can still use your harvest- plant combines exactly the same way as you were before.
  The Replant Same Crops option is ONLY enabled when you click on that button at the top of the store.
  
  
• This tool can be found in the Tools Section of the store. It is a one time purchase. You do not buy one for every Combine Harvest-Plant tool.

This Replanting method can make replanting some types of farms much faster like:

• when you want to plant numerous different kinds of crops and different quantities for Regular Quest purposes.
  If you are planting short grow crops on those daily this method can be much faster.
  
  
• If you went on vacation or were away for a while and the crops died you can quickly replant the entire farm with the exact same crops and amount of crops that were wasted.
  
  
• If you wanted to replant a farm with only a few different crops on it daily, you could use the biggest Combine Harvest-Plant or biggest EX Combine Harvest-Plant and replant all of the ready to harvest crops or wasted on it without having to select every different crop first or switching to different size tools.
  
  
• This works on single layer plowed farms and also on farms where the plots are overlapped.
  
  
• when you like to do your own farm work and replant the same crop(s) on the same farm(s).

Replanting will always cost you some coins

You always pay for the seeds you plant on your farms and the plowing, even when hiring. It's the same cost as using a Combine Harvest-Plant without using the new Replanting method.

Requirements to Buy:

You need to own at least the Combine Harvest-Plant (5x5).

In order to buy the Combine Harvest-Plant (5x5) you must also own the same size Harvester, same size Plower, same size Combine Harvest-Plow AND the same size Seeder before you can buy the Combine Harvest-Plant.



When you own Crop Replanter Implement tool make sure that you place it into Item Storage.

That's all you need to do with it, once it is in your Item storage it enables the Replant Same Crops option in the Seed store when you pick up a Combine Harvest-Plant tool to use.

You will not see this tool in your yellow toolbox. You do not need to click on it to use it.

When using the Replant Same Crops option it will be up to you decide what Combine Harvest-Plant to use out of the ones you already own according to what you want to re-plant.

How to use Replant Same Crops

1. When you have placed your Crop Replanter Implement into your Item storage. Go to the farm you want to replant.
   
   
2. Open your tool box and click on the size of Combine Harvest-Plant tool that you own and want to use.
   
   
3. When the Seed store opens you will see a green button at the top:
   
   
   
   
4. To Replant the same crops that are currently on the farm, click on the Replant Same Crops button and you will see the combine tool you chose to use AND an icon of the Crop Replanter Implement.
   
   
5. Then click on the crops you want to replant.
   Remember this tool will not replant plowed or harvested plots!

6. As you click the crops that are highlighted, if ready to harvest, will be harvested, plowed and replanted again. If the crop has died it will be plowed and replanted with the crop that had wasted.
   
   When you move your combine to a different spot, if it has different crops highlighted it will still replant the crops that are within the highlighted area without you needing to select any crops.
   
   Note that if you are only replanting crops that are very close to other crops you do not want or need to replant yet, you will need to use the correct size tool and make sure only those crops are highlighted before you click on the farm to plant them.
   
   
   
7. To stop Replanting, click on the green man and you will stop using the combine and replant mode.
   
   
   If you want to use the combines without replanting the exact same crops do NOT click on the Replant Same Crops button, just select the crop you want to plant as normal then click where you want to plant it.

Replanting As a Super Neighbour

You can also use the Replant Some Crops option as a Super Neighbour as long as you or the farm owner owns the tool and it's placed in Item Storage.

The exception to this is when a farmer has set a farm to only plant a specific crop or specific timed crops, in which case you do not get the replant option you will see the Preferred crops list instead so you can select what to plant and use the combine harvest-plant without using Replant.

The farm owner pays for the cost of the seeds planted and a portion for plowing. If you do not own the Crop Replanter Implement tool the farm owner needs to own it and it must be in their Item Storage
