Welcome to our Official October Competition!!

This month's theme is "Halloween", so post here your fabulous farms and get the chance to win some Farm Cash.

Prizes are as follows, divided into 2 Categories:

NOVICE

1st Prize - 120 Farm Cash
2nd Prize - 75 Farm Cash
3rd Prize - 50 Farm Cash

ADVANCED

1st Prize - 120 Farm Cash
2nd Prize - 75 Farm Cash
3rd Prize - 50 Farm Cash

The competition will begin on Thursday,October 8th at midnight, and will close on Sunday, October 31st at midnight. The winners will be announced a few days later after the closing, depending on how many entries there are, as every entry has to be checked.

Note: All times are in GMT

Contest Guidelines:

We are looking for a whole decorated Halloween farm, please dont decorate only a part of your farm.
You can use any items from the Store, Gifts or your Storage.
You can choose between a "picture farm" or a traditional farm, but Halloween decorations need to be placed.
Only for this month competition, we are allowing wasted crops. Just to clarify, if your farm photo is showing up wasted crops, they have to be present as wasted on your farm when the judges visit your farm. If crops are showing up as Ready to harvest, then they have to be present in the same way or "growing" when the judges visit your farm. This also applies to trees and flowers.

Contest Rules:

You have to be a member of the Forum.
Your farm can be any size.
Your entry needs to be a picture of your farm. Do not post a picture on behalf of someone else.
One farm entry per contestant. Do not start another forum account to enter another farm.
Do not edit your original post to include a different/changed farm or delete your original post and post again. You cant add/delete any items on your farms once you posted your photo into the contest. NOTICE: If new items are released AFTER you have entered you are not allowed to make additions to your entry, so please be sure you are done.
Your farm photo must be an exact replica of your farm. Do not hide items to take your photo.
You cant redecorate the farm you have entered into the contest until the winners have been announced.
You have to provide the following information: A photo of the farm that you wish to enter. The link to your farm. The name that you have given that farm and the farm number

How do I post a picture for the Contest? Please remember, you must use the Small size while taking your photo as the Regular and Large sizes are too big for the forum. If you choose the wrong size, then we will delete your post and will send you a private message asking you to take a new photo using the right size. NOTICE: Your farm photo and your Farm town album MUST be set to Public or we will not be able to help you if your entry needs fixing.

This is actually based on a farm that I decorated 3 years ago now for the then Halloween contest on my old Facebook and FT account (I didn't win anything :D). However, as that was my favourite farm of all time, I thought I'd have a bash at doing a similar farm on my new account but I've changed this one up a little and put a lot more detail into it. This little nuggest of info' is incase anyone actually remembers that farm from 3 years back and is having a case of dejavu :-).

Halloween is my favourite time of year and as I'm a huge fan of the history of the 16th and 17th centuries, this was the perfect opportunity to combine the two and try and recreate (as far as I could) a farm based on this period. So there are no 'straight' or tarmac roads, no modern buildings, a market square complete with animals to be sold, all that kind of thing :). I started off with a fun theme going on with the balloons etc... but then I watched 'The Conjuring' for a little inspiration and so my farm became a little creepier as a result :p

Ok so now I'm rambling but no matter what, I thoroughly enjoyed decorating this farm and I hope you all like it. x
