What we call "American" is known to be one of the hardest languages in the world to learn or to figure out Some of our own words still use the original English spelling, and some do not. Add to that the fact that within our own country, between the coasts, and the Northern and Southern borbers, people use different terms and even variations in spellings. So there is no real set rules about such things. That's the great "American" way! Or is it? You can find simular differences in these things some other countries as well.

I'm british and spell it like plow, I like to use the variations, english languages is an everchanging language , yes we do use punctuation, well not me personally in lazy mode but it is essential to both english and american, in fact any language it does not matter the spelling as long as the meaning is understood I think.. ,

If we cannot have our own set of spellings, can you please remove the annoying squiggly line from underneath them please?

olebut think of this as a lesson in a new language. I am from Hawaii and learnt how to spell a few words in English that Americans spell another. Just think I can use both ways to spell the same word.
