When posting your picture, are you supposed to see it when you preview your message. I tried to post it, but the picture did not show up in the preview. I was afraid then to hit the Post reply button, for fear it would not appear in the contest.

Not sure if I posted this question or not, as I can't find it anywhere. Anyway. I tried to post a picture of the farm I want to enter, but in the review section there was no picture. I followed the directions on how to go about it, so there was a http address attached. Since it didn't show me a preview of the picture I figured something went wrong. I have window 10, if that makes a difference. Thanks for you help. Jan

Your first question is just above your second post in this thread. If you cant find your posts on the forum, please click in your username in the upper right corner and then click in Statistics button. Then click in "Find all posts by ribbonsmom" and you will be able to see all your posts

About your picture, yes, it must show up in Preview.
When you click in the Insert image icon (similar to a mountain) and the box with the http:// appears, just right click in your mouse and then click in Paste.
If you first click in the left button of your mouse and then in the right one to paste, the picture will not show up.

I still can't get a picture up for the contest. Nothing shows up in the preview. Not sure what to do now. Here is the link to my contest farm.

Maybe you can see it and tell me what next. I am confused, I clicked on the insert picture icon, then right clicked on the http. and nothing showed in the preview. Thanks, Jan

I'm not sure which is the problem, I just tried to post your pic and it is showing up in Preview.

The only thing you could change for your picture is the audience as only your friends are able to see it. Please change it to Public.

Please try to post the picture again, if it is not showing up, go ahead and post it anyway and I will fix it for you. Dont forget to add the link to the farm you are entering, so we can visit it

I submitted it and the picture doesn't show. I made the picture public (as far as I know). I do not understand why this is so difficult. I thank you for you trying to help me. Hopefully I can figure it out for the next contest. Thanks again! Jan

To clarify the no hiding rule. Does that mean I can't put trees in front of a cluster of factories to keep them in the background of the main design?

Hi ccheney

The hide rule means that when you take your photo for the contest, you must have a check mark for: Show crops, show trees, show flowers, show ponds, show seasonal items, show decorations, show buildings, show tools, show facilities and show ships, in your preferences, the wrench.

For example, if you have factories and you hide them using other items, like clouds, mountains, etc. it is ok, but when you take the photo, "Show facilities" must have the check mark, no matter they are not visible in the photo.
