I sure hope you're wrong. I know it was a long time between updates this time a year ago, but for quite a while now they've been spaced about two weeks apart. Of course I 'spose the devs are entitled to a vacation, but if they're planning one, maybe they'd better warn us!

There maybe updates every few weeks however, new farm releases are about 1.5-2 months apart.

Nov 28, 2009 Farm 2 was released
April 3, 2010 Farm 3 was released
May 28, 2010 Farm 4 was released
July 16, 2010 Farm 5 was released
September 17, 2010 Farm 6 was released
Nov. 12, 2010 Farm 7 was released

There can still be hope for a release this weekend, farms 2 and 3 were released on a Saturday.

I have never posted on here before so I am not sure this is where to put my idea. I would love it if some of the trees and animals that have been gifts for a long time could be bought. I try to send out gifts daily but most of my neighboors dont and I would really like to be able to buy more cows, chicken, peach trees and cherry trees. Dont know about anyone eles. Thanks for a great game other wise.

Looking through the dates you've listed, after farm 3 was released, the biggest interval is July 16 - September 17, 2 months and a day. All the rest are less (by 5-12 days) than two months, so I'd say that at that rate, we could reasonably expect farm 8 any day now.

WOW FT is soooo slow....... yup farm 8 this weekend yup yup i think so...... especially since i am sick..... lol always when things are not so fun in my real life farm town comes through with a surprise for me lol lol

Has FT ever released an update on a weekend? I can only remember updates coming out on weekdays, usually late afternoon.

I agree! I would love to be able to get hens, cows, goats, geese, etc!

Yes, there have been Saturday updates. As for late afternoon, I have been anticipating the release and waiting to plant just in case so I looked at some of the older releases and they are all time stamped. Many of them were around 7:00 pm but there were also others around 5ish and even a few at 12 or 1 am. I am central time so not sure what time zone those times are for. So basically, it is whenever they want lol
