Nope. I think they range from 100,000-600,000 coins.

Yeah, the coins required for land expansion on the second farm are heftier than the farms we all started out with. But IMO it's well worth the coins you have to spend. By the time you're of a level high enough to buy a second farm, you should be well-set in coinage (Unless your original farm is designed as something other than a working farm ie: artwork, all gardens, etc.) You should be able to afford at least the 3 million. YMMV of course, and I know lots of farmers who spend their crop money as fast as they make it. But so many farmers squirrel their coins away.

I was about a million short when the release came out, and like a little kid, I wanted that second farm, immediately. <g> I ended up buying the farm cash necessary to get it ($120 Farm Cash). I don't regret doing that at all. It cost me $20 and I consider it well-spent money to get my other farm. Plus it's like a little donation to the game, They Who Have Given Me So Many Hours of Fun!

Again, YMMV.

I appreciate the ability to buy the second farm, including the upgrades, and I don't think the price is bad.
I'm using the second farm to use for crops, and at some point, after the Christmas items are released, I will go back to the first farm, plow up a significant portion of fields, then remodel and buy the manor along with other assorted goodies!

The great thing about the option for a second farm, and all the new goodies is that it gives us incentives. I can not WAIT to make level 50 to increase the 2nd farm's acreage... I'm planting Raspberries for points for the first time in months. (And I want a clothes line!
