How do I harvest animals?

To harvest animals, you will need the buildings that will harvest them.
  • For cows and goats, you need the dairy shed.
  • For llamas and sheep, you need the wool shed.
  • For hens, turkeys, geese, peacocks and ostrich you need the chicken coop.
  • For horses and clydesdale you need the stable.
  • For rabbits you need the rabbit hutch.
  • For pigs you need the pig sty.
NOTE: you cannot harvest pigs until you own a manure spreader as the manure harvested from pigs gets stored with the manure spreader.

You will need the buildings and the animals. Then when it is 100% you can harvest by clicking the building and selecting 'harvest animals'. Or, you can open the Facility Manager and click on the "Harvest Animals" button next to each building.

The chicken coop you can harvest 1 time per day, the dairy shed it takes every 8 hours, pigsty every 12 hours, wool shed every 2 days, stables every 2 days and rabbit hutch every 2 days. Super sheds hold more animals and can be harvested sooner than regular sheds. The super dairy shed is still 8 hours to harvest.

An easy way to Harvest all your animal sheds without having to go to each farm, is to use the Facility Manager. You can set it to just show you animal sheds on all farms and then harvest each one. It is also a quick way to find out how many animals you have in each shed and which farms they are on.

For a faster way to Harvest All animals in All sheds on All farms, with one click, from the Facility Manager, you can buy the Animal Harvesters.

Which animals are harvestable?

The animals that you can harvest are:
  • sheep
  • llamas
  • hens
  • geese
  • cows
  • goats
  • turkeys
  • horses
  • clydesdale
  • rabbits
  • peacocks
  • ostrich

These are the Farm Cash animals that when harvested give you more eggs/milk/wool than a regular animal. They all cost 5 Farm Cash each. Farm Cash animals produce 30 times more than the regular animal.
If you have a Farm Cash animal in a super animal building it will produce 60 times more.
  • Leghorn Hen
  • Holstein Cow
  • Longwool Sheep
  • Heavywool Llama

Note:
  • Yellow chickens are NOT harvestable, only the hens.
  • Bunnies are NOT harvestable, only the white rabbits.
  • only the cows and llama from the animal section of the store can be harvested, not the ones in the farm decor section.
  • the lamb in the animal section of the store and the seasonal one do NOT produce anything, they are just decoration.
