As Molly posted above this is a Facebook glitch (which I have seen in the past on other games on Facebook.) When you send gifts simply choose youre Farm Town friends from the list of your facebook friends. The current limit seems to be holding at 16 for Farm Town. This of course can and will change without notice from Facebook.

I tried to send Valentine's Day gifts to my Farmer Friends and was told that I didn't have any Farmer Friends yet. Since I know this isn't true, what is going on?

Facebook seems to be having some issues with a few different apps. When sending gifts choose people from the facebook freinds list for the moment.
