Default How do i Produce Faster or Refer Clients?

How to Produce Faster (regular facilites) or Refer Clients (service facilites) is explained in the Chapter 10 Hiring in the following link >>

http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthr...78#post5832378

NOTE: Posting for help from inside the funeral or religious facilities has been disabled. This is so people don’t use those facilities to post and avoid other people marking those posts as offensive which can negatively impact the game. Just use any other facility to ask for help.

Default I don't want to send my facilities requests to everyone. How can I do this?

1. When you get the first pop-up that asks you "Do you want to ask your friends for help?" BEFORE you click the green check mark, remove the check mark from "Show on Farmtown Wall Request" that will prevent the request from showing on Wall requests where all your friends can see it. When you have done that, click the green check mark to bring up the posting box.

2. If you want to select certain friends to send the facility requests to, click on the audience selector to the left of the "Cancel" button. In this image it show it is set to "Public":

Once you have selected your friends or friends list, click on "Post to Facebook" and your post will only be seen by the friends you chose.

Another version of the posting box you could see is this one...

In this post, near the bottom, you need a check mark to the left of News Feed. The audience selector is to the far right of News Feed. It is set to Public in this image. Click it to change it to what you want.

Please note: the "Post to Facebook" button changes every now and then you may have "Share" or "Submit" instead of "Post to Facebook"

Default Facility Manager

The Facility Manager is a tool in your Yellow Toolbox to make it easier to navigate and manage your facilities.

At the top right of the Facility Manager you will see several icons. These help you with your facilites and how you wish to view them in the Facility Manager.

The Ingredient planner when you click on it will open a new window. From there you can see what you need to supply your facilities and what is missing according to the filters you choose. To set it for one full run select "15days" in the middle filter. You can change the various filters according to what you want to see. Once you have made your choices click "Update". Figures showing in black are what is required, figures in red are the amounts that are missing.

The Search icon will let you search for a specific facilty and will place it in the viewing area. Use the arrows to scroll up or down if you have a few that meet your search criteria.

The Funnel icon will bring up the Facility Filter

Here you can choose which type of facilites the Facility Manager will show you and which farms.

The drop down arrow for regular facilities will let you choose from
All
Non-Workable by Friends
Workable by Friends
Part of the NCC
Part of a Chain
Restaurants
Producing Common Ingredients - includes all facilities that produce at least one common ingredient, ie: the Art Studio is not included because the Leather Mask is not a common ingredient but the Brewery is included because the FarmTown Beer is a common ingredient
Producing Ingredients - includes all facilities that produce at least one product that can be used as an ingredient, ie: the Art Studio is included because the Leather Mask can be used as an ingredient to make stick masks
Containing Disabled products- this will allow you to quickly locate those facilities with temporarily disabled products so you can enable them again
Super Facilites- if you deselect Animal Buildings and Service Facilites and select this for Regular Faclities, it will filter the Facility Manager to just Super Facilites.
The drop down arrow for Services will let you choose from
All
Part of the NCC
Part of a Chain
Containing Disabled products

The A-Z icon will allow you to sort your facilites
Alphabetically : Alphabetical order
Production Chain : will sort the facilities in such a way that will allow you to work continuously from top to bottom, as facilities with primary ingredients are on top, when you get to the complex facilities at the bottom you will have stored all the primary ingredients already required for these complex facilities.
Done : will sort to the facilites that have finished products.
Utilization : will sort the facilities with the most in production first down to the least. This is useful if you wish to see any facilites not at 100% production. You can scroll down to the bottom of the list and see what is not at 100%.
Custom Order : will allow you to view your facilites in the order you choose. Select that option and you will see a new icon appear top right of the Facility Manager
Click on it and it will bring up a new window showing you all your facilites. Click on a facility and drag it to the new position to view your facilites in the order you choose. Click the green check mark to save.
Farm Number : will order your facilites from farm 1 onwards
In each Facility box is a question mark. Clicking on this will open the help menu showing what products the facility makes. Top right of that window is a picture of the facility, if you hover over that it will tell you the name of the facility and how many owned. Just above that is the picture of a tool, this tool is the start all or load all tool for that facility. Hovering over the tool will tell you the name of the tool. The blue link at the top of the window will take you to the ingredient planner, or if it's a service, the stock planner. Click on a the picture of a product to see what it needs to make it and if it's used elsewhere there will be another link you can click telling you where it's used or stocked. Each time you click either a product or a link you can click the back arrow to go back to the previous window.

The Five Blue Buttons located at the top of the Facilty manager require tools to use them.

Harvest All : Allows you to harvest all animals in all farms related to the tool you own, with one click. The tools required to harvest ALL animals are Milking Station, Shearing and Cutting set, Egg Collector, Manure Collector (Note: you cannot harvest manure from pigs until you own a manure spreader as the manure harvested from pigs gets stored with the manure spreader.).

Store All : Allows you to store all products in all facilites for the tools that you own, with one click. The Tool required for ALL facilites is the Purple Forklift.

Start All : Allows you to start all productions in all facilites related to the tools you own, with one click. The tools required to start ALL facilities are Turbo bottling machine, Turbo drive thru system, Turbo tables and chairs, Turbo mixer, Turbo belt dryer, Turbo loader, Turbo conveyors, Turbo packaging machine, Turbo workbenches, Turbo mobile utility carts, Turbo Ordering Station.

Cash Out All : Allows you to cash out ALL service facilites for the tools you own, with one click. The tool to Cash Out ALL of the facilites is the Armored Truck. You also need fuel to cash out service facilities.

To find out which tools work with which facilites check out the Game Guide Chapter 21: Tools For the turbo tools look for the regular tool and the turbo tool will be listed in the same post. So for "Turbo bottling machine" look in the "bottling machine" post.

The check boxes located in each box for each facility only appear if you own the relevant tool to start or load all for that facility. Removing the check mark, as shown in the Windmill picture below, will prevent any products in that facility from starting/loading using the blue buttons. The added check mark allows all products to be started /loaded provided that when you open the facility you also have a check mark in the box for each product you want to produce/load. If there is a particular product you do not wish to produce/load, just remove the check mark on that product.

After you have finished loading your facilites, you can also post your requests for your friends to work your regular facilites or service facilities from the Facility Manager, instead of finding the facility on your farm and opening it. Use the search icon or use the scroll bar in the Facility Manager, to search for the facility you wish to post from, hover your mouse over the box it is in, and then click the "Open" button.

For Regular facilities you then click on the "Whats Pending Tab" and then "Produce Faster".

For Service facilites you open the facility and then click on the "What's In Stock" tab and then "Get More Clients".

You only need to post from one regular facility and one service facility. If you have never posted work requests before or need further details please click on this link..
Can I hire someone to work my Factories or Service Facilities?

Default Service Facilities

These are a new type of facilities that will not produce any tangible goods but instead will allow you to make coins by providing a service. It works similar to the current facilities, the difference is that you don't start any production on them, but rather load them with products so they can provide a service.

You can check the "What's in Stock" tab and see what is still in stock, what has been used and to Cash Out the coins you have made for whatever have been used so far. You will make about 50% more profit by loading the products into the service facilities and then Cashing Out later, compared to just selling the products in the market.

Please note to Cash Out from the service facilities requires that you have fuel to do so.

You can now ask friends to 'refer clients', which basically is allowing your friends to work the service facilities. Click 'what's in stock' and click 'get clients" and send out a request. To work on a service facilitiy click 'refer clients':

NOTE: Posting for help from inside the funeral or religious facilities has been disabled. This is so people don’t use those facilities to post and avoid other people marking those posts as offensive which can negatively impact the game. Just use any other facility to ask for help.

Default Chapter 13 - Facilities

What is Show Facility Info?

When you have more than one farm, you will see a green grid top left of your game screen titled Show Names. Each green box below that represents one of your farms.

If you click on "Show Names" then, at the bottom of the screen, on "Show Facility Info" it will bring up a new window like this , but will show you your information.

If you mouse over each box it will tell you the farm name.

The legend at the top left is as follows, if you mouse over each of the options there will also tell you what it means and how many of those types of facilites you own>>

FW - Factories Workable
FN - Factories Non-Workable
SV - Services
AB - Animal Buildings

Each box is one of your farms, each farm will show you how many of each type of the facilites you own on that farm. If you click the on one of the boxes it will take you to that farm.

Default Chapter 13 - My Super Facility - Description and Rules

My Super Facility

This feature provides another way to acquire high demand products and also to incentivize and make trading easier between farmers. You can access this feature through the My Super Facility icon in the tool box. Icon shown above.

The benefits of this feature include:
  • Every extra product produced by your Super Facility did not cost you any extra time and ingredients to produce, so when you sell it, all the coins you receive are pure profit.
  • For every product you sell (or give away for free) you will earn one back as a gift from the Mayor.
  • The Super Facility products you buy from other farmers can be used to complete pending Quest steps provided you have the Trading Lifeline.

This feature uses the player’s local time to determine when each day and week starts and ends. Each day starts at 12:00AM and ends at 11:59:59PM. Each week starts on Monday 12:00AM.

Rules:

a) Every week you can upgrade a facility that produces ingredients to a Super Facility for the remainder of the week. These facilities may be Mines, Mills, Semi-Trailer, Fish Farming, etc but in general it can be any facility that produces at least one product that is commonly used as an ingredient on other facilities, like the Brewery.

b) The exact facility that will be upgraded will be chosen at random by the game.

c) Every instance of the Super Facility will increase production by 50% during the current week

d) The extra production will be split in 2 buckets: The Trade Marketplace bucket and the Neighbours bucket.

e) You can sell all the products in the first bucket to any farmer at very low prices, so buyers have a significant incentive to accept your offer, however this transaction can only occur in the Trade Marketplace.

f) You can sell all the products in the second bucket to any of your neighbours, this transaction can occur anywhere.

g) Even if you sell your extra products below market price or give them away for free to other farmers and neighbours, the Mayor will still reward you for helping others based on the amount of products you sold or gave.

h) In a particular day, every product type has to be sold to a different farmer.

i) When selling a particular product type all its available stock in the bucket has to be sold at once.

j) At the end of each day all unsold products on each bucket are lost and the buckets start filling again the next time you start productions on the Super Facility.

k) The main screen will show information about each bucket for the current day.

l) You can check weekly totals using the notepad icon on the top right corner of each product.

m) When the week is over, you can check your weekly totals and upgrade your next facility.

n) To sell your Super Facility products to a farmer click on its avatar and select the 'Sell Products to' option, then on the first dropdown select the 'Extra Products from Super Facility' option.

o) To quickly start productions on all instances of your Super Facility use the new 'Super Facilities' filter in the Facility Manager.

Default My Super Facility - How to play

To participate in this feature open your tool box and click on the My Super Facility icon as shown above. It is located in the far left column. You will then see the following window..

Check Rules will give you a brief description of the Rules.

Check Benefits will tell you what the benefits of a super facility are.

Click on Upgrade a Facility top left of the window and your facility for the week will be selected. This is an example of the Brewery being picked...

You next need to start products in your super facility. You can do that either from the facility on the farm or from the Facility Manager. If you use the Facility Manager you can, if you wish, click on the funnel icon and set it to only show your super facility(s) as shown below..

Once you have started making the products in your super facility you will immediately have products available to sell.

To check what you have for sale and what you have sold/earned open your Tool box and click on the Super Facility icon. This is an example of what you could see...

In this window, each box shows you your extra production today, what you have sold/earned and what you have available to sell. The amount showing as "Available to Sell Today" is what you can sell or give to another farmer. The Notepad in the upper right corner of each box, when you hover your mouse over it, tells you your totals for extra production and sold/earned for the week. There are two sections to this window Trade Marketplace Bucket and Neighbours Bucket. Click on each section to see how much you have to sell at Marketplace or to Neighbours.

To sell your Trade products either click on the Go to Market to Trade button or use the Map icon to go to the Trade Marketplace.

If you have never sold to another farmer before please read Buying and selling between farmers for detailed instructions on how to sell.

To sell to a farmer. Click on their avatar and choose "Sell products to xxx"
To sell super facility products change the category to Extra Products from Super Facility as shown below...

In that window you can choose...
  • Category: Click the drop down arrow to change the Category to Extra Products from Super Facility
  • Product : Click the drop down arrow to choose the product you want to sell.
  • Quantity will always be all your stock, you can not change this
  • Mark Up: Clicking the drop down arrow allows you to choose your price anything from Free all the way up to 50% above market price. Remember even if you give them away for free you will earn each one back as a gift from the Mayor.
  • The little notepad when you click on it allows you to send a message with your sale. When you receive a sale offer yourself, you will see the same notepad when you review the offer. This allows you to send a message back to them when you accept or reject the offer.

When you have made your selections click the green check mark to send the offer. If your offer is accepted you will see a message of thanks.

There are some circumstances when the farmer will not receive the sale offer...
If someone has already sent them an offer which they are viewing you will see...

In this case you can wait a while and try again.

If the farmer you send to is selling to the mayor at market you will see this message...

If the farmer you send to is working facilites you will see this message...

If the farmer you send to is hiring you will see this message...

You may only sell one type of product to each farmer, not several different products to the same farmer. If you have already sold them something today and you try to sell them something, you will see a pop up telling you so...
If you try to sell the same product to several users at the same time, the first one that accept the offer is the one that get the products, the rest will see the following message: "Sorry, this offer has already been taken by another farmer."

To sell to a Neighbour: You have 2 options, find their picture in your neighbours bar, if they have a green dot on their picture you can click on their picture and choose "Sell Products to xxx" , without having to meet up with them. You must both be showing online for this to work. OR you can meet them on your farm or their farm or any other place where you can see each other. You must have them for a neighbour to be able to sell to them, they must have you as a neighbour for them to sell to you. For the Sell Products to xxx option, when you have sent your offer they will see it wherever they are and once accepted you will see a message of thanks.
To help you find out if your Neighbour is online you can order your Neighbours bar by Online Status. Click on your own picture in the Neighbours bar and click on Order by Online Status. All your Neighbours that are online will show with a green dot on their own picture in the Neighbours bar. The arrows to the left of the Neighbours bar will let you scroll the bar to view more neighbours.

If your neighbour has just come on line and they are not showing as on line you can Refresh Online Statuses. Click on any picture in the Neighbours bar, scroll to the top and and click on Refresh Online Statuses.

At the end of each day all unsold products on each bucket are lost and the buckets start filling again the next time you start productions on the Super Facility. Each day starts at 12:00AM and ends at 11:59:59PM at YOUR local time.

NOTE: You can buy as many products from super facilities as you are offered by each individual farmer. This does NOT impact your Buying Limit for buying things like crops, fruits, flowers etc

When the week is over and you next open your Super Facility in the Tool box you will see something similar to this....

The numbers in red for each product are your Total Extra Production and Total Sold/Earned for the week.

Each week starts on Monday at 12:00AM YOUR local time.

When the new week starts you will have to click on Upgrade a Facility again to get your new super facility for the week.
