That will not get rid of them if they are stuck. You will need to the Games/Activity to ignore them to get them to clear.

I can see facility wall requests and other wall requests but probably from the last two or three days no gifts have come in. I tested it just now to see if my husband's account could send me a gift, it was able to, but I did not receive it

Hi Mrs Beatles,

I have moved your post to the thread about gifts.

I apologise for the long read. I'm giving you 3 sets of instructions to try and figure out what has happened. Please try them one at a time in order. If the 1st one doesn't help, move on to doing the the 2nd set, if that doesn't help either, you'll need to do the 3rd set. If the problem corrects for you after doing the 1st or 2nd sets, you do not need to do the 3rd set.

First set: Please try clearing your FT memcache. To do that Click Here. A window will open with a list of "unsetting", that is the memcache being cleared. Close that window and FT if you have it open in another window. Then reload and see if My Requests has corrected and is now showing you gifts.


Second set: If it doesn't please do the following:

Go to your Facebook Settings and click on Blocking in the left side.
Scroll down the page and make sure that under Block App Invites that you have no friends showing up there that normally send you a gift. If there are any showing there, that shouldn't be you need to unblock them to start receiving their gifts again.


If after trying those, your problem is resolved, you do not need to do the Third set.


Third set: If that is not the problem, you may have stuck requests holding up the new ones from showing in My Requests so you will need to do these instructions next to clear them out of Facebooks Game Activity area:

• Check My Requests still has no gifts.
  
  
• Load your game, open the Train Manager and boost any trains showing.
  
  
• Then go to the Facebook Activity page by clicking on this link https://www.facebook.com/games/activity
  See if you have any Farm Town requests there, do NOT try to accept them or boost any trains showing. You don't get gifts for stuck requests, they are ones already accepted at a previous time that did not clear, if you try to accept them they won't clear and will remain stuck. Trains can not be boosted from that area.
  
  
• If you see Farm Town requests there, click the Ignore All top right of the requests to ignore up to the first 100 requests. You can try ignoring less than 100 if you wish, by clicking the X on each one to clear them out. For stuck gifts we recommend you clear at least the first 50 requests showing, but if you don't clear enough out, you will have to do this again if the problem either does not correct or returns.
  
• Then go back to My Requests and see if you have any gifts showing up.

If there is not, you still have some stuck requests, so you need to go back to the Facebook Activity page and clear out more requests that are showing.

That section of Facebook can only show you up to 100 requests at a time so if clearing the 1st 100 doesn't resolve your problem or it comes back again, you will have to go back to that area more than once to clear more of them out and you may end up having to clear all of them out, so it's entirely up top you if you just want to keep returning to that area and keep clearing the whole lot out so you can start over with new gifts.

Thanks Tiger, I did all three, there were only 39 stuck gifts so I ignored them all, went back still no requests. Got my husband to send me a gift and still nothing. Thanks for helping but no luck.

Hi Mrs Beatles,

Did you go back to the Facebook Activity area again and see if any more are showing up that may be stuck, if not, please look again, there are more showing ignore the whole lot, repeat until none are showing anymore. If it looks like the same ones are stuck and you clicked Ignore all to clear them the first time, try clicking the x to ignore them individually and see if that clear them.

If that doesn't work or you've already tried that, then it's time for you to go to support. In case you need the instructions for contacting support:

Hey Tiger, I left to go to work after I had tried the three things you listed, left the game for four hours and have just logged back in and I have gifts

The accept gifts is messed up again. Accepted, sent and they're still there. Went to FB game activity, it threw me back to FT when I tried to accept - "cannot process." Help please.

Hi VondaK

If you have already accepted the gifts via My Requests tab and they went to your gift box, then it is better to go to the Activity in Facebook and Ignore all of them.
Take in mind you cant boost trains from the Activity page, so if you have some to boost, first go into the game and boost them from the Train Manager.

However, I have more than 50 gifts. Took 1/2 hour to do just some. Also FB is messing with other stuff too. I now have "someone" instead of names. Not a happy camper. Wish FB would play nice with FT.
