I hope they are able to bring back the red grid when they fix everything else. I use that whenever I plant new trees. It's the most reliable way of filling in every gap.

OK the same is happening to me as Taz said - it looks like things havent planted but when you reload the game they are there. Be interesting to see what happened to the crops I planted over the top of the ones I thought hadnt been planted. Its a display issue not a functional one and I can cope with the work around of reloading.

Hi Triheart,
Since you have 1.4 billion experience then the number is shortened and you do not see the lesser numbers, so you may not see the experience adding up. If you hover your mouse over the number it will show the whole number.
When you are working on your own farm you do not collect coins for the harvesting as you get all the crop. The plowing and seeding cost you coins so they should be going down and not up. Again depending on how many coins you have the number may be shortened and you won't see the coins being deducted.

It DOES appear that the "Red Square Fix" is the culprit of this nasty problem. My problems also only started today, and I strongly agree with RuralVirologist that the Devs roll this fix back and find another way to attack the major problem.

I can handle things not staying hidden, but the new issues related to the red squares is a real deal breaker. I also concur that this will drive people away faster than anything else that has happened to date.

Please, please undo whatever you did last night. I liked my red squares - they were very helpful. In fact now I LOVED my red squares. What was the point in removing them?

when you harvest anything, suddenly all trees, flowers, buildings etc appear even though they are not ticked.. they will not go away unless you reload the farm.. very annoying to be trying to farm at the moment, so I am only doing quests and the bare minimum until a fix is found.. my facility manager is also mucked up... 191 facs were in customised order.. not any more!! will take hours to fix this mess.. not sure if I will even try as the save doesn't work when you try with just a couple of them.. what a mess, but at least we are all in the same boat!! the flash player is not just picking on a few people... its non discriminatory.. lol

Just call me chicken little if you want but the sky is not falling and this is not the worst day eve. Sure there is problems with Farm Town now, but the Devs are working on it and if past history has taught us anything we should have a little patience, they will solve this one also. Might not be as quick as we want or may not be exactly like we would want it but you have to agree the price of playing this game is right. You can spend as much or as little as you choose. Happy Farming to all.

The Red Squares/lines are back and I can now chop/harvest what was behind an item...
Note: As far as I can see these red lines do not slow down my farms, but that is just in my case... I personally prefer having these red squares/lines for planting and transplanting trees & flowers... I do have the "Grass With Guidelines" but I find that is more helpful for deciphering the center of the farm, placing an item (example a fence) directly opposite to each other, etc...

Facility Manage back to my original Customized Settings...

And it looks like hidden objects are staying hidden...

I'm a Happy Farmerette again!!!...


P.S. Haven't checked the harvest/plow/plant problem yet...

hurried to check to see if my facility manager was back to normal - but no - not mine!!! And thank you for removing the red lines but now mine are white!! What I have to go thru to harvest and plant certain fields is crazy!! Not worth playing the game. Please go back to yesterday!!!!!!!!!!
