I just saw Raul's most recent post about why Facebook deactivated us THIS ime:

- Broken user experience in the app (e.g. app has broken links or user interface failures)

Frankly, as a web developer myself, it is next to impossible to not have ANY issues of these types in an app as large as Farmtown is. Of course you strive for not having any - and one of the things I've always admired about FT is that they DO fix bugs and other errors fairly quickly. This IS a stable app until FB shuts us down. My read on it is that primarily, FB wants to make sure we're adequately directing traffic back to their platform. If FB's next message says, "We found x y and z bugs that we want you to fix" - as long as they're relatively minor, I'm sure Raul and Team will be able to fix them quickly. Bigger things they want changed would take longer. To me, FB is just making itself look bad. They should at LEAST let players continue to play while bugs are being fixed. Don't ruin it for all of us. FB is beginning to feel like a big bully, frankly.

I agree. They are concerned with "game experience" so they shut the game down?

I agree - and it's nice to hear the point of view of another developer. If FB's goal is to direct traffic back to their platform, they are failing. My visits to FB have dramatically decreased, and when I do visit, as soon as I see the game is not restored, I leave. My heart goes out to the developers and moderators who have to be on the front lines of this nonsense.

Hi Max river,
The transaction for the farm pass goes through Facebook just as any transactions do, so I doubt they are upset about that.

I remember several instances of gift giving or belt posting being down because of something Facebook did. So apparently FB is causing the problems with my game experience and not Slashkey.
