Arrow Chapter 34 - Farm Pass

Farm Pass

This chapter is a quick guide to Farm Pass.

Any of the current goal targets and reward benefits may change in the future which will require us to update the information in this Chapter as we get them. Please bear with us when we need time to do this.

Although we will list examples of possible goals and rewards this does not mean that you will always be offered one of each or that you will be able to complete all of the ones you are given.

The goals are selected at random and everyone will likely have different goals.

Each blue link in this post, when clicked on, will take you to that specific post:

What is Farm Pass?

Level 100 or above is Required.

You will have likely seen the Farm Pass yellow ticket top left of your game screen with a day or time on it.

Farm Pass is a seasonal event.
It offers the opportunity to earn all kind of rewards by completing different goals as you play and interact with different features of the game!

The Season is a Monthly Goal consisting of both Daily Goals and Season Goals.

3 x Daily goals will be unlocked each day for you to complete on the current day.
These will be replaced daily by new ones.

3 x Season goals will be unlocked each week for you to complete in the current month
Season goals will be harder than daily goals, will earn you more Farm Pass points and you have longer to complete them than the Daily goals as these are not replaced every day.

As you complete any goal you earn Farm Pass points which allows you to unlock different kind of rewards.

Rewards can be free or premium, everyone will have access to the free rewards.
Players who purchase the Farm Pass will also have access to the premium rewards for that month.

Some rewards when claimed will grant you instant benefits like farm products, facility ingredients, farm decorations, coins or farm cash

Other rewards will grant you certain privileges that enhance your game experience and will remain active for the rest of the season, for example, earning extra products when farming, increased capacity for facilities that produce common ingredients and increased output for trains and ships

All Free rewards will be Instant rewards.
The premium rewards will include all the privileges and the same set of free instant rewards but with 20% more benefits!

The Farm Pass to access the premium rewards each month will cost $4.99
You purchase it from inside the Farm Pass Feature.
The purchase process is very much like buying Farm Cash so it cannot be purchased using any Farm Cash you have in the game.

NOTES:
  • This feature is new - Any of the current goal targets and reward benefits may change in the future
  • New types of goals will be added in the future which will include Trading and Facility Chain goals
  • New type of rewards will added in the future, including avatar features, reviving crops, unstuck ships and completing quest steps

To open Farm Pass - Click on the Farm Pass icon located on the left upper side of your game screen.

The Icon will NOT show up if you are below Level 100 in the game.

The one located on your game screen has a time showing next to it.
It will be showing days at the beginning of a season then it starts counting down as the season gets closer to finishing. On the last day it will show you the hours and minutes left until the season is over.

Keep an eye on that time every now and then so you know how long you have to get any goals completed and any rewards claimed so that you can benefit from the rewards before the season ends and everything resets.
You can also access Farm Pass by clicking on your toolbox and then clicking on the Farm Pass icon at the top of the 2nd column on the left side.

You can also make the Farm Pass one of your tool shortcuts if you wish.

Farm Pass starts with showing you the Goals section.

At the top right of the window is a Question mark that you can click on to get a brief idea of how Farm Pass works.
There are 5 pages you can read. You can use the arrows on those pages to scroll though the pages.
Your goals will be different to other famers goals and the amounts required for each goal will differ as well. Daily Goals are generally easier to complete than Seasonal Goals as the seasonal ones earn you more points.

There is a time showing in both the Daily Goals section and the Seasonal Goals section.

The Daily Time helps you to know when new daily goals will be given. In this example there is over 17 hours left to complete the daily goals and then they will be replaced by new Daily Goals even if the goals were not completed in time.

The Seasonal Time are the weekly goals. In this example there is 6 days left before you will get more Seasonal Goals. With seasonal goals they are not replaced with new ones. You have much longer to complete these goals. Just keep an eye on that time in the last week in case you have a goal with very large amounts so you know how much time there is left to complete any goals and claim any rewards.

Example of some of the Goals:
There is a scroll bar at the bottom of the window that you will be able to use to scroll through them all as you get more goals to do.

Each Goal picture gives you an idea of what is required for that goal and if you mouseover goal it will show a tooltip with more information if you need it.

The figure at the top of each picture is the amount of points you would earn.
The figure at the bottom of each picture represents the progress you make with that goal.

In some cases where only a small amount is needed there will be two figures that show how many out of the amount you have done as you make progress with a goal.
Using the Green Grapes Seasonal goal with the blue seeder tool on it Black
That goal is to plant 2092 Green Grapes.
You can plant them with any tool that you own, in this case it doesn't matter what size tool you use, you could also use a Harvest-Plant combine if you wished.
The figure at the bottom shows with 0/2092 when none have been planted yet.
As you plant green grapes the 0 increases to show how many are done out of 2092.

On other goals which have far bigger numbers there will just be a zero showing at the bottom of the picture as there's not enough room to display two large numbers. In those cases the full amount needed is in the tooltip and the number under the picture increases from 0 up as you make progress with a goal.
This farmer has one of the larger goals to harvest 15360 flowers.
Only the flower tool is showing in the picture so this means that any flower can be harvested for the goal.
At the bottom of the picture only a 0 shows as there's no room to show 2 large figures. In this case you would mouseover the goal to see what the amount was that's needed.
As you harvest flowers the 0 increases to reflect the amount done.

If any Farm Pass Goal completes as you are playing or doing farm work
an animated completed indicator will briefly show right next to the Farm Pass icon top left of your game screen. Open the Farm Pass to check which goal has completed.
This is what it looks like. It doesn't matter if you miss seeing it. You won't see it every time depending on what you are doing in game.

We will show more examples of different goals and what the commonly used icons mean later in this chapter.

There are also two other sections.

Rewards will show you which rewards you could earn and is and where you go to claim any earned reward.
The Farm Pass Rewards are always shown on the top row and will be locked until a Farm Pass is bought.

The Free Rewards are always shown on the bottom row.

The horizontal brown bar with numbers in it, is an indicator of the points you have and what points are needed to claim a reward. The more points you earn, the more that bar will fill with blue to indicate how many points you have and how far until you have enough points to claim the next reward further along.

Rewards can be claimed in any order when you have enough points, you do not have to do them in the order that you see them and you do not have to claim any you might not want yet.
An easy way to spot if you have a Reward to claim is to look for the red icon on the Rewards tab:

Towards the end of the Season if the last reward in any row has not been claimed and is not a decoration you will be reminded with a popup to claim them.
Once you have claimed the last reward the reminder will no longer show up.

There is also a scroll bar at the bottom of the Rewards section that you can use to see all possible rewards as well as some chest icons you can use to scroll through them at a slower rate.

Privileges are Rewards that can increase what you are harvesting from your farms, harvesting from animals, making in facilities, trading, increase products from your ships and trains. There's even a weekly one for a neighbor to work you Non-workable facilities like mineral mines, bee farms etc. You earn these by completing goals to earn points.
Clicking on the Privileges section will show you a description of what each of the rewards.
There is also a scroll bar to the right of this window that you can use to see more the privileges.

When you claim one of those rewards the picture turns colourful so it's easy to see.
Example:

Buy Farm Pass:
  • Buying the Farm Pass will cost cash.
  • You can not use your Farm Cash to buy the Farm Pass.
  • The Farm Pass lasts the entire season, about a month.
  • Then the following month if you want the better rewards again, you buy another Farm Pass.
  • All purchases in game are now made using PayPal or Stripe.

To buy Farm Pass:
  1. Open Farm Pass

  2. In the Goals Section and also in the Privileges Section of Farm Pass you can click on the Farm Pass Get button.

You will then be shown the Privileges and the Buy Farm Pass button with the amount it costs in US dollars

  3. Click on Buy Farm Pass and you will be shown two methods you can use to buy the Farm Pass, using PayPal or Stripe. This is just like the methods to buy Farm Cash from the Bank.

Whichever method you choose to use the payment window will list things like these.
Please double check all the details are correct before you complete the purchase:
    • what you are buying
    • your payment method
    • your email address
    • the cost

  4. When you complete your purchase, your purchase will then be processed.
If you change your mind about Purchasing Farm Pass look for any option that may say Cancel purchase or for an X that will close the purchase window that you are viewing.

Once you have bought the Farm Pass You will then see Farm Pass Unlocked in both the Goal and the Privileges sections and will be able to start earning better rewards by completing goals.

If your Purchase did not complete for some reason, please reload the game and check if you have the Farm Pass, if you do not, please check your payment method and see if the purchase was completed.
If it was completed please contact the support team by clicking on this link:

Harvesting Animal Goals need to be done by harvesting your own animal sheds.

After 15th September 2022 - Moving forwards, you will no longer be getting any more Harvest Specific Farm Cash Animals Goals.

Harvesting Specific Animal Goals will always be either store bought animals or the harvestable animals that are shown on the Send Gift page.

You will need to have animals in their respective animal sheds, ready to harvest.

You can harvest animals from the facility on your farm or via the Facility Manager.
In all case the amounts can be small or very large, the numbers we are showing are not specific to each animal.

They can be daily goals - in this case they need to be harvested that day.
The following day you will get new goals regardless if they have all been completed or not.

They can be seasonal goals - in this case you can harvest them over several days or longer as long as you get them done before the season ends.

Harvesting pigs can only be done if you own a manure spreader and you have pigs in a pigsty that are ready to harvest. This is because the manure obtained from harvesting pigs is stored in the manure spreader.
Pigs are only available from the gift page.

Harvesting horses does require owning a stable which costs Farm Cash to buy.
There are no coin stables that can be used to harvest horses.
All the horses are only available from the gift page.

Make sure that in the last week of the season you remember to harvest your animals regularly especially if you have a goal to harvest a large amount of animals.

Goals can be for harvesting:
  • A set amount of any animals that produce products - non specific, it's the total amount of animals harvested that counts.
Several animal sheds showing in the picture means harvesting any animals that are in animal sheds.
It doesn't have to be the animal sheds showing in the picture.

If you mouseover the picture you will get more information like how many animals you need to harvest.
As you harvest them the zero number at the bottom of the picture increases until you reach that goal and complete it.

  • A set amount of a specific animal, store bought animals or gifted animals - in this case it's the amount of a specific animal so only that specific animal will count and you have to harvest that specific shed.
Examples of Daily and Season Goals

Remember: If you have a farm set as a Quest farm which prevents the animals being harvested using the Harvest all at the top of the Facility Manager you will need to decide if you want to use those for the Farm Pass goal or save them for Quests.

If you need a reminder of which animals can be stored in which animal sheds please click on this link:

Gifts, Ingredients, Send Bonuses Goals

Daily Goals (blue background) need to be competed that day. The following day you will get new goals regardless if they have all been completed or not.

Seasonal goals (green background) - in this case you can complete them over several days or longer as long as you get them done before the season ends.

A Blue Silhouette on the picture means you need to help your farmer friends.

CLICK HERE if you are not sure how to use the new Gift Manager and to see what the changes are with the Send Gifts tab and My Requests tab on the Website.

Make sure that you reload the game for your Farm Pass Goal to update after sending/accepting gifts in the Gift Manager or when sending requested gifts and requested ingredients in the Other Wall Requests page.

Requested gifts, requested ingredients or bonuses that farming friends need will show up in the Other Wall Requests page where it can also show you if you have already sent something to them.

To use the Other Wall Requests page, you can either click on the My Requests tab at the top of your game screen and then click on Other Wall Requests
OR you can click on this link:
https://apps.slashkey.com/farmtown/pending_in_wall2

A pink background on any request means you have already sent something to that farmer which could be a gift, an ingredient or a belt/dan bonus. You can send one of each per farmer.

When you send a Requested gift using Other Wall Requests:
You can just click on the Send XXX and then you will then see in Gift Sent red text.

After sending gifts, ingredients and bonuses in Other Wall Requests, when you next reload the Other Wall Requests those will show a pink background as usual.

Examples:

Gifts - Accepting sent gifts.

Where there is a RED gift box showing AND a Blue Silhouette You need to SEND gifts to friends. You don't send a specific gift. Any gift sent from the gift page will count. This example requires 12.

Where there is ONLY a RED gift box showing and NO Blue Silhouette. You need to ACCEPT gifts. In this case it's not a specific gift so any gifts will be fine and you can exchange gifts for the ones you want.
This example requires 12.

Where there is a picture of a specific gift AND the RED gift box showing.

This example shows 2 gifts of Cinnamon Tree need to be sent to you by friends.
They must send that specific gift.
You only need to accept the amount the goal requires.

EXCHANGING other gifts you have received for a specific gift item showing in a goal, like the Cinnamon Tree in this example and then accepting them, does NOT work with this type of goal!
  • The gift chosen is selected at random. If you don't need or want it, you can accept just enough to complete the goal then sell them at market if you don't want to store them to use later.

  • Existing gifts in your gift box don't count, you need to accept the gifts after you see that goal in Farm Pass.

There may be times where you may want to ask friends to send you that particular gift. There are several ways to request some of the gifts showing on the Send Gift page if you want to request a specific gift:

  • Any gifted tree/flower that you already have on your farms, you can click on to request that specific item.
Using the Cinnamon tree as an example you could find a cinnamon tree on your farm and click on it to request it as a gift which will then post to the Other Wall Requests page.

  • If you already have an item in your My Gifts section of the Gift Manager that matches the goal you can also request that gift from there by clicking on the More on the gift which will then also post to Other Wall Requests.

If it's a specific gifted animal, like a Cow you could exchange just one of your gifts in the Pending Gifts section of the Gift Manager for a Cow then accept just that one gift. Then go to the My Gifts Section of the Gift Manager mouseover the Cow until More appears then click on More to request it.
Your farming friends will be able to see that request in the Other Wall Requests page.
You can do the same for gifted crops and products. Examples:

  • If you don't have a particular gifted tree or flower on one of your farms OR your level is too low to be able to exchange gift to request a gift that unlocks at a higher level, you could send a message either in game or via Facebook to ask your friends that are a higher level to send you them.

  • Farming friends that need to send you a specific gift CAN use either the Gift Manager to Send the Gift or they can send the requested gift by clicking on your request in the Other Wall Requests page.

Ingredients Packs Goals - BROWN gift box
When you mouseover these 2 types of goals you will see the phrase Ingredient Packs.

You will either be sending ingredients to other farmers that they have requested them OR you will be requesting them yourselves and being sent them.
When you or a friend opens a regular facility and clicks the green plus sign on a product to request ingredients to make a product. That is requesting an Ingredient Pack.

When a friend sends you those ingredients they are sending you an Ingredient Pack.

Friends requesting ingredients will show up in the Other Wall Requests section of My Requests.

You will NOT see your own requests for ingredients in the Other Wall Requests.

Daily Goals (blue background) need to be completed that day.
Seasonal Goals (green background) need to be completed before the end of the season.

Examples of the 2 different types of Ingredient Pack Goals- How to know when your goal is to send ingredients to famers OR request ingredients to be sent to you:

Brown gift box AND a Blue Silhouette showing means helping your farming friends with Ingredients that you can see they have requested in the Other Wall Requests page..

The easiest way to know if you have already sent an ingredient to a farmer is to use the Other Wall Requests page.

In the Other Wall Requests page look for any request that says Send Ingredients that does not have a pink background. To send the ingredients click on Send Ingredients.

Example:

It doesn't matter which requested ingredient you send to a farmer, one per farmer will count.

If you need to send several to complete a goal, you need to send an Ingredient pack to different farmers.

This example shows a total of 3 ingredients need to be sent. One Ingredient pack to 3 different farmers.

Daily Goals (blue background) need to be completed that day.
Seasonal Goals (green background) need to be completed before the end of the season.

ONLY a brown gift box and NO Blue Silhouette showing means you need your friends to send YOU Ingredients that you have requested.

This example shows a total of 2 ingredient packs needed so 2 different farmers need to send you the ingredients you requested.

It doesn't matter which requested ingredient they send to you.

You request ingredients the same way you do when requesting them for making products in your facilities.
Open one of your regular facilities that makes products.
Each product that facility makes has a green + sign, click on the plus sign to request the ingredients to make that product and post it to Other Wall Requests. You will not see your own Ingredient Requests there.

When your farming friends see that request either in Other Wall Requests and send it to you, when you reload the game it will be in your Gift Manager.
Each ingredient sent to by different farmers counts towards your goal.

Daily Goals (blue background) need to be completed that day.
Seasonal Goals (green background) need to be completed before the end of the season.

Send Bonuses - Belt Icon

Black Belt Icon and a Blue Silhouette means helping your farming friends with Belt/Dan bonuses.
  • Farming friends requesting bonuses will show up in the Other Wall Requests page.

To send a bonus, look for a request that says Get Bonus that does NOT have a pink background, then click on Get Bonus to send them.
    Example:

A pink background on any request means you have already sent that farmer a bonus.

  • The bonus can be for any product and any belt or dan.
  • You can send one Bonus request per farmer.
  • When you need to send several to complete a goal, they need to be sent to different farmers.

This example shows a total of 18 needed. To complete the goal this farmer needs to send one bonus to 18 different farmers who have posted Belts/Dans.

Daily Goals (blue background) need to be completed that day.
Seasonal Goals (green background) need to be completed before the end of the season.

Co-operative, Regular Quest, NCC Goals

Regular Quest goals and Co-operative Quest goals can can be daily and or seasonal goals.
Daily goals will be a small amount. Seasonal goals will be a higher amount.

NCC (Neighbourhood Chains Contest) goals are always seasonal.

IMPORTANT: Co-operative Quest Goals and Regular Quest Goals - When deciding whether or not to complete any of your regular or co-operative quests for a goal, you still need to keep in mind when you can next claim you Farm Cash and if you can get enough done in time to claim that week!!! Completing the last step of a Quest is what governs the time it was completed. You can NOT stop it counting for the week by not claiming the coins. Nothing has changed in that respect.

It's up to you to decide if it's the right time to complete any quests so that you can still claim your Farm Cash when that day comes round. Remember to collect your coins on a completed Quest!

The time in the Daily Goals section helps you know when that day will end.
The time counts down to 0
Daily goals will have a blue background.

The time in the Seasonal Goals section helps you know when the current season will end.
The time counts down to 0
Seasonal goals will have a green background.

The types of goals you might get are:
  • Complete a number of regular quests in one day (daily goal) or if it's seasonal over the rest of the season.
Must be completed in one day.

Complete 1 Regular Quest. This example is a Daily goal so must be completed before the day is over.

Complete 6 Regular Quests. This example is a seasonal goal so must be completed before the season ends.

  • Complete a number of co-operative quests in a day (daily goal) or if it's seasonal over the rest of the season.

Complete 1 Co-operative Quest. This example is a Daily goal so must be completed before the day is over.

Complete 12 Co-operative Quests. This example is a Seasonal goal so must be completed before the season ends.

  • Help your Neighbours with their Help Notes on Co-operative quests.

Help neighbors with 3 co-operative quest Help Notes. This example is a Daily goal so must be completed before the day is over.
There must be a yellow help note on a neighbours co-operative quest step.
You must have what they need to be able to help them.
You can click on one yellow help note per quest.
Each help note counts as one when you click on it and help them with that quest step.

Example of a help note on a co-operative quest step:

  • NCC (Neighbourhood Chains Contest) goals:

This goal is to finish the NCC contest (Neighborhood Chain Contest) and place in a randomly selected number of top places.
NCC goals are always Seasonal Goals.

The goal could be to place in the top 3 places up to a maximum of the top 6 places.
Remember - as it's a season goal, if you get one in one of the earlier weeks of the season and you can't complete it that week, you still have the rest of the NCC contests in that season for another chance to complete it.

Unlike other goals there is no number at the bottom of the goal as the goal will complete when you rank within the top number of places required.

When you mouseover the goal the information in the tooltip will tell you which top places you need to rank in!!!
For example, the tooltip may show you:
Finish in the top 4 places in the neighbourhood chains contest
This means you need to place 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th.

Example of a completed NCC Goal:

Ships & Trains Goals

These can be either Daily and Seasonal Goals or both.
You may get a specific or non specific ship or train goal.
Your port must be open in order to receive ships from your farming friends. Farmers are likely to choose reliable farmers for their logbooks that will check for ships more often than those that do not.

The time in the Daily Goals section helps you know when that day will end.
The time counts down to 0 and your Daily goals must be completed before the day ends.

The time in the Seasonal Goals section helps you know when the current season will end. The time counts down to 0 to indicate when the next season goals will be added. You must complete your seasonal goals before the Season ends which is shown on the Farm Pass icon on the left of your game screen.

This example shows roughly 5 days until the season ends.
On the last day of the season it will show hours and minutes instead of days.

IMPORTANT - Super Neighbours that have the Train Management permission can complete their own train goals by using the farm owners own trains and boosting any trains that have been sent to the farm owner.
They will not be able to see any boosts for their own trains that they may have sent to that farm owner.
When Super Neighbours manage your trains it counts towards their own goals not the farm owners goals!

If you want to remove that permission:
Click on any neighbour in your Neighbours bar and then click on Order by Super Neighbour

All your Super Neighbours and who you are an Super Neighbour for will have a red dot if they are your Super Neighbour. A purple dot if if you are their Super Neigbour.

Find the Neighbour you want to change the setting for and click on their picture and then click on Edit Super Neighbour. If you are seeing Set as Super Neighbour, they are not your Super Neighbour.

In the menu that shows at the bottom of the settings is Train Management with two options.

To remove the permission, remove the check mark from Permanently Hired for Management and you should see it also removes the check mark for Allow Management of Trains.

Then click the green check mark at the bottom of the window to save that change.

Examples of Goals:

At the top of each goal in the picture it shows you shows you what points you can earn.
At the bottom of each picture it will tell you how many times you need to:
  • unload/dispatch/boost trains
  • unload your own ships
  • load friends ships at your port

UPDATE: As of OCT 1, 2022, the daily goal to dispatch a specific colour ship has been removed.
The rest of the ship goals have not been removed.

Arrows pointing to the right mean Dispatching:
In this case ONLY what you do with that specific train will count.

Currently these Train Goals are all daily goals.
The goals are selected at random which means that you could get a goal for a train that you do not own yet or that can not be dispatched that day.

Goals could be for any of the different speed trains that also have long cars attached:
  • Dispatch one Standard Locomotive
  • Dispatch one Enhanced Locomotive
  • Dispatch one Supreme Locomotive
  • Dispatch one Ultimate Locomotive
  • Dispatch one Turbo Locomotive

As A Super Neighbour with Train Management permissions you could also use the trains belonging to the farm owner that you are a Super Neighbour for to complete the goal. Always check before doing so in case the farm owner needs them to complete their own goals.

Arrows pointing down mean Unloading:

Unloading goals can be for any of the different Ships or Trains.
You can get more than one goal per Season.
You many be required to Unload the same colour ship or same speed train more than once for any goal.

Unload your own Purple ship 3 times. Only you can do this. Your Super Neighbours can not do this. As this example requires you to do that 3 times it will always be a Season Goal which gives you the rest of what is left of the current season to complete it.

Unload a Standard Train twice.
If you have 2 standard trains that can be unloaded both will count.

As a Super Neighbour with Train Management permission you could also unload those specific trains belonging to the farm owner or a combination of one of your own and one of theirs. Always check before doing so in case the farm owner needs them to complete their own goals.

Unload a Turbo Train three times. This is a Season goal which means it does not have to be done the day you got the goal, you have the rest of the season to unload a Turbo 3 times.

As a Super Neighbour with Train Management permission you could also unload those specific trains belonging to the farm owner or a combination of one of your own and one of theirs. Always check before doing so in case the farm owner needs them to complete their own goals.

A Blue silhouette means you need to help friends/neighbours with their ships/trains.

When your goal is to Boost a specific train, farming friends will need to send you a train boost for that train.

This goal is to Boost (Accelerate) an Enhanced train via the Train Manager
This goal is to Boost a Turbo train the Train Manager.

As a Super Neighbour with Train Management Permissions you could boost trains that have been sent to the farm owner that you are a Super Neighbour for via the Train Manager accessed form the Yellow Toolbox when you visit their farm. Please make sure that you have the farm owners permission to do so in case they need them to complete their own boost train goals.

You may also get a non-specific train goal.
Where there are multiple trains showing in a picture that means they are not any specific speed trains.

This example is to Help Boost 30 any speed Trains via the Train Manager.
As there are quite a few needed, this goal is a Season Goal which gives you more time to complete it, depending on how long is left of the current season. It doesn't matter which speed trains you help with, what will count is the amount of them.

Your port must be open in order to receive farmers ships and you must be on their ships logbook.
This is your preference icon, located top right of your game screen.

The setting for Enable Ships must have a check mark added.

Load a Purple ship in your port.

You can also get a non-specific ship goal. In this case it doesn't matter which ship you help with, what will count is the amount of them. Where there are multiple ships showing in a picture that means they are not specific ships, what will count is the amount of them.

Load 6 Friends Ships in your Port

Hired by a Stranger at Market Goals

All of these goals require you to be hired by a stranger at market!!
You must claim the job completion bonus on every farm worked!!

ALWAYS mouseover a goal and READ the information in the tooltip to get the full details on what you need to do!!

The example below shows the kind of the information you could see in in a tooltip.
The information in this tooltip tells you that the 3 different jobs must be done in a single hire, you need to get hired at the Job Marketplace AND that the job completion bonus must be claimed before progress is recorded. .
Job Completion Bonus - Getting hired by a stranger at the Job Marketplace earns you a Job Completion Bonus when you complete all the jobs you are hired for on each farm.

When you are hired by a stranger at the Job Marketplace, as you work, the Job Completion Bonus chest icon will appear near the top left of your game screen:

When you have completed a job on a farm, there are several ways to claim the bonus chest:
  1. you can click on that icon
  2. If you are hired for more than one farm, you can go to the next farm to work
  3. If it's only one farm, click on the home icon to return home

In all the above cases a popup will show with information about your bonus.

You MUST click on the green check mark to claim that bonus!

  • Super Neighbour work does NOT count as they are not a stranger and can not claim the job completion bonus chest.

  • Neighbours and Buddies working does NOT count as they can not claim the job completion bonus chest.

  • You can use any tool you own or the farm owners tools if they have allowed them. As usual you will need fuel to use the bigger tools.

  • These can be both Daily and Seasonal Goals.

The time in the Daily Goals section helps you know when that day will end. The time counts down to 0

The time in the Seasonal Goals section helps you know when the current season will end. The time counts down to 0

The types of goals and amounts you need to work or earn can vary.
We are only showing a few examples:

Multiple job goals have a picture of an avatar AND several tools. The number at the bottom of the picture tells you how many different types of jobs you need to do.
Work a minimum of x jobs in ONE job hire - can be all on one farm or spread over more than one farm.
As you do each job AND claim the bonus chest for every farm, the counter will increment.
The example below is to work a minimum of 5 different jobs so that could be harvest crops, harvest trees, chop trees, flowers, fishing.

Multiple Farms goals have a picture of an avatar AND the farm grid on them. Work a minimum of X farms in ONE job hire. These can be any job type but must be a minimum of X farms.
The number at the bottom of the picture tells you how many farms need to do. As you complete each farm AND claim the bonus chest the counter will increment.
The example below is to work a minimum of 4 farms.

Earn X coins in one job hire OR over several jobs. These have a picture of an avatar AND yellow coin icon on them. The number at the bottom of the picture can be just a 0 if it's a large amount as the there is no room to display large amounts. As you earn coins and claim the bonus chest on every farm completed, the zero figure will change to show your progress. Mousing over the picture will show more information.

Earn XP You need to earn a set amount of XP (experience points) in one job hire or over several jobs. These have a picture of an avatar AND an XP icon on them. The number at the bottom of the picture can be just a 0 if it's a large amount as the there is no room to display large amounts. As you earn XP and claim the bonus chest on every completed farm, the zero figure will change. Mousing over the picture will show more information.

Farm Work Goals that can be either completed on

your own farms
hired to work for other farmers
as a Super Neighbour
or a combination of both!

UPDATE 15 September 2022: Hiring Neighbours (when NOT a super neighbour) has been FIXED and will now count towards one of these goals.

Type of farm work includes Harvesting, chopping, fishing, planting seeds with any size tool.

These can be done on your own farms, hired to work on other farmers farms including as an Super Neighbour.

Watering flowers Goals can ONLY be done with the watering can!!!

These Goals that are NOT the ones where you need to be hired by a stranger at market!!! - If when you mouseover a goal you see Purple Text, that is a goal to work for strangers at the Job Marketplace and are NOT these goals!

IMPORTANT Information about Hiring Farmers to work your farms and Super Neighbours:
  • Hired workers and Super Neighbours working your farms for you will be incrementing the counters on their OWN Goals, not the Farm Owners Goals!!

  • ONLY Super Neighbours can be hired to Plant as long as they have that specific permission! They will be incrementing the counters on their OWN Plant Seeds Goals, not the Farm Owners Goals!

  • Super Neighbours please remember to ask the Farm Owners permission before you do any large quantities of work for anything. Especially any Farm Cash waters, long crow crops or trees, or for harvesting flowers and watering flowers as they may need those to complete their own Goals!!!!!

Some quantities on Goals will be small amounts some will be far larger!!!

Fertilization does not make any difference to the counter amounts.
Every item (crop/tree/flower/fish) counts as ONE.

All of these Goals can be Daily and/or Seasonal goals.
The time in the Daily Goals section helps you know when that day will end. The time counts down to 0
The time in the Seasonal Goals section helps you know when the current season will end. The time counts down to 0

Examples:

At the top of the picture of each goal is the points you can earn.
At the bottom of each picture a smaller quantity could show something like 0/549. As you work the 0 will increase to reflect the amount you have done.
When only a 0 is showing which you will see when it's much larger quantities, you can mouseover the goal to see the exact quantity.
As you work that item the 0 will change to reflect the amount you have done.

Where there is just a tool showing in the picture, you don't need to work specific crops/ trees/ flowers/ fish. These can be done on your own farms or by working for other farmers as an SN or being hired at market.
Any size tool for those workable items can be used. Using bigger tools requires Fuel.

Harvest any Crops, it's the amount of crops.

Harvest any Trees, it's the amount of harvestable trees that counts.

Chop any Trees, it's the amount of choppable trees that count.

Fish any waters, it's the amount of fish caught.

Harvest any flowers, it's the amount of harvestable flowers that count.

Where there is a picture of a specific crop/ tree/ flower/ fish as well as a tool you need to work that specific item to get that goal completed, no other items will work.

This example is to Chop 222 Cedar Trees. If there is a 0 at the bottom of the picture or you don't recognize the tree, mouseover the goal to see the name of the tree and the amount needed.

This example is to Harvest 366 Palm Trees. If there is a 0 at the bottom of the picture or you don't recognize the tree, mouseover the goal to see the name of the tree and the amount needed.

This example is Purple Orchid flowers. Mouseover the goal to see the name of the flower and the amount needed if there is a 0 at the bottom of the picture.

This example is Sorghum. Some pictures of crops are similar in looks. Mouseover the goal to see the name of the crop you need to harvest and the amount needed if there is a 0 at the bottom of the picture.
You can harvest and plow at the same time if you wish.

These examples are lobster, tuna, salmon and yellowtail. These smaller amounts to fish are the premium fish you can get from fishing Farm Cash waters.

Example: if your goal was for fishing squid, you would need to fish big sea coasts to count towards that goal, the other types of waters won't count.

The Premium fish from Farm Cash waters are:
  • Big Lake with Boat 30 FC - salmon, trout
  • Small Lake 16 FC - salmon
  • Big Sea Coasts 32 FC both types - cod, grouper, lobster, squid, tuna, yellowtail
  • Frozen Lake 30 FC - northern pike, walleyes.

If you need a reminder of where ALL possible fish can be fished from, please click on this link:

Watering Flowers Goals This is the only Goal where you must use a specific tool!
You MUST use the Watering Can to water specific or non-specific flowers.
DO NOT USE any of the mobile sprinklers.
The watering can is in your toolbox at the bottom of the 5th column from the right.

Before watering flowers, mouseover the flowers to make sure enough drops are clear drops and not blue drops!. You need a MINIMUM of one and a half drops clear, like the example below. To be on the safe side 2 clear drops would be better, but it's up tp you what you want to try!

You can't water flowers when the drops are all blue!

The reason we recommend preferably 2 drops clear is because there can be times where you are slightly early. The drops are not an accurate timing so you can still see a green underneath the watering can making it look like they can be watered but when you try you can sometimes see notification which means it's too early to water them.

Where there is just a watering can showing you can water any flower (non-specific).

Where there is a specific flower showing along with the watering can, you can ONLY water those flowers to count towards the goal.

Facility Goals - making or loading products, working facilities for friends

These goals can be daily or seasonal goal, they can be small or large amounts.
The times in both the Daily Section and Seasonal Section help you to know when a day or season will end.
Daily goals need to be completed that day. They will be replaced by new ones even if they are not completed.
Seasonal goals last all season so you have longer to complete them and claim any rewards before the season ends.

These goals can be to make or load products in your own facilities.

They can also be to work friends regular facilities or service facilities.
In this case you must complete enough farms with facilities on until the mayor takes over and finishes the rest of the facilities on the rest of the farms for you. Then any qualifying facilities will count.
The friend must own the facility needed and be making/loading the products in them.
Every instance of that facility they own that can be worked counts as 1.
Each goal can be moused over to see the tooltip which help you when you don't recognize the product or the facility.

The number at the top of each picture is the points you could earn.
The numbers at the bottom reflect how many you need to do and updates as you make progress to complete the goal.

Example of Goals you could get are shown below.

Your own Facilitiy Goals: A picture of a product showing AND a facility.

You will be making loading products in your own Facilities.

Daily goal to Start 29 batches of Plant décor in your Interior Design Decor Factory. Goal must be completed before the day ends.

Daily goal to Load 25 batches of Garlic Shrimps in your Taste of Spain. Goal must be completed before the day ends.

Seasonal goal to Start 184 batches of Spring Drain cleaner in your Plumbing Supplies Factory. Goal must be completed before the season ends.

Seasonal goal to Load 215 batches of Cheese Pizza into your Movie Theater. Goal must be completed before the season ends.

Goals to Work Friends Facilities: A picture of a Facility AND a blue Silhouette

You will be working either Regular Facility or Service Facility Requests for your Friends.

The easiest way to find Friends Facility Requests is in the Facility Wall Requests
  • Friends need to have the facility and there must be work to do in them when you go to work them.
  • Every specific facility worked counts as one.
  • Those that have more than one, each one of those worked will count as well.

Daily goal to Help 15 times in the Casino Supplies Factory. Goal must be completed before the day ends.

Daily goal to Help 28 times in the Taste of Japan. Goal must be completed before the day ends.

Seasonal goal to Help 165 times in the Advertising Agency. Goal must be completed before the season ends.

Seasonal goal to Help 159 times in the Windows and Doors Shop. Goal must be completed before the season ends.

Farm Pass Server Mismatch Error:

If you like to work facilities in several tabs at once, don't leave Farm Pass open in another tab where the game is loaded or look in Farm Pass while the other tabs are open. You will need to finish working all the tabs, close them and then load the game in one browser tab BEFORE you check Farm Pass!!

If you don't OR you try to check Farm Pass when work has finished in another tab, you could see an error pop up in every tab that is open to the game saying Farm Pass Mismatch Error!
That's because in all the other tabs the Farm Pass is seeing what you worked in a particular tab and is ALSO seeing a different number in another tab which is why they don't match!
