What is Show Facility Info? When you have more than one farm, this is an easy way to allow you to know how many facilities you have, of each type, on each of your farms. (Factories Workable, Factories Non-Workable, Services, Animal buildings).
Why do I need to know this? Currently you are limited to between 350 and 400 facilities per farm, but this amount can be less as it also depends on how many products you have done in your facilities that you have not stored, OR it can be a combination of both. Note: Dispatched trains and their long cars also count as part of this limit, 1 per locomotive, 1 per long car so you need to take this into account if you have both facilities and trains on a farm. If you see a message saying "You have too many facilities on this farm, please move some of them to another farm to avoid losing productions" you have reached your limit for facilities on that farm, what you need to do is try storing all the products that are done. If that does not clear the message you will have to move some facilities and/or trains to other farms. Remember, storing a facility will lose the pending and done products in that facility so you may want to wait until production is finished and stored before you move it to another farm. If you are taking part in the Neighbourhood Chains Contest and the facility is listed for the contest, do not store the facility until the contest is over or you will abandon the contest. You will only see the generic warning about storing a facility if you manually store it by clicking on the facility on your farm and using "Add to Storage". Where do I find Show Facility Info? When you have more than one farm, you will see a green grid top left of your game screen titled Show Names. Each green box below that represents one of your farms. If you click on "Show Names" then, at the bottom of the screen, on "Show Facility Info" it will bring up a new window like this , but will show you your information. Each box in the window is one of your farms. Each farm will show you how many of each type of the facilities you own on that farm. If you mouse over each box it will tell you the farm name and the Facility Capacity Used percentage. There is also a blue bar underneath the farm name to represent the Facility Capacity Usage. The longer the blue bar the more you have used. When the Facility Capacity is at 100% and the blue bar is full you must not place any more facilities on that farm. Example of what you could see when you mouse over a farm: Open the Facility Manager. ![]() For ALL facilites, Production (regular), Services and Animal Buildings set it to the following: Last edited by Tiger; Dec 19 2019 at 05:51 AM. |

![]() ![]() My Super Facility This feature provides another way to acquire high demand products and also to incentivize and make trading easier between farmers. You can access this feature through the My Super Facility icon in the tool box. Icon shown above. The Super Facility becomes available at at Level 20 The benefits of this feature include:
This feature uses the player’s local time to determine when each day and week starts and ends. Each day starts at 12:00AM and ends at 11:59:59PM. Each week starts on Monday 12:00AM. Rules: a) Every week you can upgrade a facility that produces ingredients to a Super Facility for the remainder of the week. These facilities may be Mines, Mills, Semi-Trailer, Fish Farming, etc but in general it can be any facility that produces at least one product that is commonly used as an ingredient on other facilities, like the Brewery. b) The exact facility that will be upgraded will be chosen at random by the game. c) Every instance of the Super Facility will increase production by 50% during the current week d) The extra production will be split in 2 buckets: The Trade Marketplace bucket and the Neighbours bucket. e) You can sell all the products in the first bucket to any farmer at very low prices, so buyers have a significant incentive to accept your offer, however this transaction can only occur in the Trade Marketplace. f) You can sell all the products in the second bucket to any of your neighbours, this transaction can occur anywhere. g) Even if you sell your extra products below market price or give them away for free to other farmers and neighbours, the Mayor will still reward you for helping others based on the amount of products you sold or gave. h) In a particular day, every product type has to be sold to a different farmer. i) When selling a particular product type all its available stock in the bucket has to be sold at once. j) At the end of each day all unsold products on each bucket are lost and the buckets start filling again the next time you start productions on the Super Facility. k) The main screen will show information about each bucket for the current day. l) You can check weekly totals using the notepad icon on the top right corner of each product. m) When the week is over, you can check your weekly totals and upgrade your next facility. n) To sell your Super Facility products to a farmer click on its avatar and select the 'Sell Products to' option, then in the "Category" section, click on the drop down arrow and select 'Extra Products from Super Facility' option. o) To quickly start productions on all instances of your Super Facility use the new 'Super Facilities' filter in the Facility Manager. ![]() ![]() To participate in this feature open your tool box and click on the My Super Facility icon as shown above. It is located in the far left column. You will then see the following window.. Check Rules will give you a brief description of the Rules. Check Benefits will tell you what the benefits of a super facility are. ![]() ![]() The icon top left of the Facility Manager can be grey or yellow in colour. This is to do with the Farm Pass Feature of the Game. If you would like details on that feature please click on this link: http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=658742 Start making products in your super facility. You can do that either from the facility on the farm or from the Facility Manager. If you use the Facility Manager you can, if you wish, click on the funnel icon and set it to only show your super facility(s) as shown below.. ![]() Once you have started making the products in your super facility you will immediately have products available to sell. To check what you have for sale and what you have sold/earned open your Tool box and click on the Super Facility icon. This is an example of what you could see... In this window, each box shows you your extra production today, what you have sold/earned and what you have available to sell. The amount showing as "Available to Sell Today" is what you can sell or give to another farmer. The Notepad in the upper right corner of each box, when you hover your mouse over it, tells you your totals for extra production and sold/earned for the week. There are two sections to this window Trade Marketplace Bucket and Neighbours Bucket. Click on each section to see how much you have to sell at Marketplace or to Neighbours. To sell your Trade products either click on the Go to Market to Trade button or use the Map icon to go to the Trade Marketplace. If you have never sold to another farmer before please read Buying and selling between farmers for detailed instructions on how to sell. To sell to a farmer. Click on their avatar and choose "Sell products to xxx" To sell super facility products change the category to Extra Products from Super Facility as shown below... ![]() In that window you can choose...
When you have made your selections click the green check mark to send the offer. If your offer is accepted you will see a message of thanks. There are some circumstances when the farmer will not receive the sale offer... If someone has already sent them an offer which they are viewing you will see... You may only sell one type of product to each farmer, not several different products to the same farmer. If you have already sold them something today and you try to sell them something, you will see a pop up telling you so... If you try to sell the same product to several users at the same time, the first one that accept the offer is the one that get the products, the rest will see the following message: "Sorry, this offer has already been taken by another farmer." To sell to a Neighbour: You have 2 options, find their picture in your neighbours bar, if they have a green dot on their picture you can click on their picture and choose "Sell Products to xxx" , without having to meet up with them. You must both be showing online for this to work. OR you can meet them on your farm or their farm or any other place where you can see each other. You must have them for a neighbour to be able to sell to them, they must have you as a neighbour for them to sell to you. For the Sell Products to xxx option, when you have sent your offer they will see it wherever they are and once accepted you will see a message of thanks. To help you find out if your Neighbour is online you can order your Neighbours bar by Online Status. Click on your own picture or any picture in the Neighbours bar and click on Order by Online Status. All your Neighbours that are online will show with a green dot on their own picture in the Neighbours bar. The arrows to the left of the Neighbours bar will let you scroll the bar to view more neighbours. At the end of each day all unsold products on each bucket are lost and the buckets start filling again the next time you start productions on the Super Facility. Each day starts at 12:00AM and ends at 11:59:59PM at YOUR local time. NOTE: You can buy as many products from super facilities as you are offered by each individual farmer. This does NOT impact your Buying Limit for buying things like crops, fruits, flowers etc When the week is over and you next open your Super Facility in the Tool box you will see something similar to this.... The numbers in red for each product are your Total Extra Production and Total Sold/Earned for the week. Each week starts on Monday at 12:00AM YOUR local time. May 2019 Update: You now have a Warehouse that you can put your super facility goods into for sale for neighbours and strangers AND you can also use the warehouse to buy regular goods from neighbours and strangers. For information about the Warehouse click on What is the Trading Warehouse?. For information on how to use the Warehouse click on How do I use my Trading Warehouse? For the full list of Production Facilities go to Chapter 13.1 Production Facilities For the full list of Service Facilities go to Chapter 13.2 Service Facilities. For the full list of Non-Workable Facilities go to Chapter 13: What are the Non-Workable Facilities? Last edited by Tiger; May 20 2019 at 03:38 PM. |

![]() Creating a Facebook Friends List for Farm Town. The most common use for one is to use it to change the post audience (privacy) of Farm Town posts so that only Farm Town players can see it and then your friends that don't play games don't get annoyed by seeing so many game posts in their News Feed. If you choose to do this you just need to remember to change the privacy again if you do a new Facebook post which is for ALL your friends to see or a different set of friends. You also might want to do this if you wanted to filter your News Feed to just the friends that play Farm Town or a specific set of Farm Town friends. You first need to create a Facebook Friends list There are several ways you can do this. We are just showing you one method.
How to change the privacy on a post before you click Post to Facebook. Example for Facility Posts. When you click on "Produce Faster" or "Get More Clients" you need to change the audience selector (privacy) to the friends list of your choice BEFORE you click "Post to Facebook". The arrow in the picture below shows you where it is. Just click on it and all your friends lists will show. Click on the friends list you want and you will see the privacy changed. THEN you can click "Post to Facebook". This example shows the post privacy is set to "Public" Remember, when you change the audience to a specific list, ONLY the friends on that list will see it. When you make a new Facebook post that is for all your friends to see or public, you need to change the privacy again to what you want next. If you make a mistake and post to Facebook before you changed the privacy just go find the post on your profile and change it there. The audience (privacy) icon on your post is to the right of the date/time on the post. Example indicted with the red arrow in the picture below show the post is set to "FT". Or, if you prefer, you can delete the post and try again. Adding new friends to Lists: You can either go to your list and add more friends just like you did when you created it OR: Go to their profile, look for "Friends" at the top of their page, click on it then click on "Add to another list". It will then show all your lists. Click on the name of the list you want to add them to and a check mark will be added. To Remove someone from a list. Either go to their profile, click on "Friends" and then click on "Add to another list". All the lists they are added to will have a check mark by the name of the list. To REMOVE the check mark for the list you do not want them on, you just click on the name of the list. OR if you have a few you want to do: From your News Feed, in the left side click on Explore again and then click on Friends Lists. You will see all your friends lists, click on the name of the list you want to alter. At the top of the page you will see the name of the list and to the far right “Manage List”. Click on that and then Click on Edit List. Click on the picture of the friend you want to remove and they will be removed from the list. To use a List to filter your News Feed to just those friends posts (all their posts not just Farm Town posts) Go to "Explore" in the left side of Facebook News Feed, click on "Friends lists". Your lists will show. Just click on the list you want to see. If Facebook is behaving, the posts will be listed in date and time order. Last edited by Tiger; Nov 28 2019 at 01:27 PM. |
