they put them in your storage , not the gift box. read when you help , there is a note saying so.

I never said average and chance was the same thing what I said was that if you take a quarter and flip it enough times you will find the average chance of it landing on heads is 50%. Flipping a coin 2 times is not enough tries to get the chance of it landing on heads because both times it may land on heads or both times it may land on tails leading you to believe that the chance of that happening is either 100% or 0% which is not the case. If you flip the coin enough times it will land on heads 50% of the time. It will work the same with harvesting the crops every time you harvest you have a x% chance of getting an extra box and if you do the math it may not be exactly x% each time but if you keep track of it it will be close to that and will average out to be x% over time. Also the more fields you harvest the more you will see that the extra crops you will get will be close to the x% you should get for that belt. The developers have not set this up to where you will never get an extra box if you are an unlucky person. I think the confusion is in their choice of the word chance from what I have seen with my own harvest you are not really chancing anything you are getting the x% it says you will get. This comes from a person that couldn't win a raffle if there was 100 tickets in the pot and 99 of them had my name on them I wouldn't win.

When I click on the bonuses, I can't see that I'm getting anything at all. I checked both gifts and storage. For instance, I clicked on a friends brown belt for apples. I do not have any apple trees on my farm so it would have been easy to see if I'd gotten the bonus. The message came up saying that they'd received theirs and I had gotten mine. But the products never showed up anywhere. Any ideas?

when the posts pop up for a bonus if you choose not to post it it still counts as one of your 5 for 12 hours. if i get a pop up for the brown belt and this is my 5th for 12 hours, but i know i'm going to get the black belt, too, i'd rather post the black belt. i don't have the chance to post the black belt, though, because if i skip posting the brown belt it still counts.

If you click on the x instead of the check mark you can keep clicking till you get to the belt you want to post.

Jas I see your point and understand that FT is not like the other games where they say that darn unmentionable word and a person gets nothing. My initial thought was sometimes I'd get none sometimes I'd get up to the full 72% which was still pretty awesome because we didn't have it before. I understand now that this being FT they would never do that and will always get something as we harvest.

But it would seem since they haven't changed the wording that we will still get something as we harvest, but maybe a % of the %.

For example a 2 day crop at the highest belt 72%
1000 fields yields 1360 crops versus 1720
and it being a 2 day crop at the highest dan nets you 50% of the 72%

To simplify all of this they had to use all the same numbers for the rank itself but the actual extra boxes you receive as you harvest may depend on the harvest time of the item. My examples before may be way off and not go all the way down to 2.5% but maybe the same percentage is the same as how we gained the belts too but my head hurts still from the 12 hour thing don't wants to do any more maths.

But I like your way better. And making it more complicated gives Oopsy something to talk about and for Grumpa to see if I made any errors.
