Did Raul say we would be getting new animals, or am I hallucinating?

No you are not hallucinating..but not sure if Raul..was speaking about 2 different additions ..Holiday items this week ...and ...More Animals when we get the next update

That is a bit unclear. I always figure that "whatever" will happen when it happens We just deal with it (or not) as it comes along. To clarify, by the or not, I meant that some items we may choose not to get or to defer getting for later.
As for animals, sure wish improvements would be made to the appearance of some of the existing ones before (or when) new ones are added. Those horses are just gosh awful looking. Plus more breeds of cows, dogs and cats would be a nice addition.

Hi would like to let you know that the Fig Trees, can be made to make the Fig Cookies, also some of the other trees can be made in Jams and well as Jello

Question about the snow cover. I know it covers the entire farm but do I have to re-buy the grass cover after winter and want grass again?

As I understand it, yes you need to re buy the grass covering when you want to change back again.
