How to get your Facebook profile link.

How to get your Facebook Profile Link:

1. Log into your Facebook account.


2. Click on the mini version of your profile picture top right.




3. in the menu that opens click on your name.




4. At the top of your browser window is the browser address bar.

In the next picture we have indicated where that and the link is, with a red arrow. The link in that address bar is your profile link.

Your Facebook profile link may only have numbers or a only a name or a combination of a name and numbers at the very end of the link.

In the example we have replaced the users ID with zeros for privacy.

5. Next, you need to copy that link.

It's entirely up to you how you copy that link, you can just refer to it and make sure that type it correctly in your email.

OR you can highlight the link and then copy and paste it into your email.

OR you can highlight the link and then use your keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste it into your email.

We are only showing one method to highlight/copy/paste a link, you can easily look up how to highlight as well as copy and paste in various YouTube videos for other methods.

To Highlight the link, make sure that you click in the empty space past the very end of the link in the browser address bar and it will automatically highlight. Do not click on part of the link as that can make only part of the link highlight. You need the whole link highlighted.

The background highlight colour can be different to the example in the picture below.


6. When all of the link is highlighted....
Right click your mouse on that link and then click on Copy or Copy Link
Do NOT highlight and copy anything else until you have pasted the link into your email.

Example of how to write an email:

We are using Gmail for this example, other email providers will have a similar type of Send Email message box:

A. Open your email and usually at the top left there will be Compose or New Email or something similar that you can click on that opens a new email message box.




The email message box has 3 sections that you need to type in.
You will see a Send button as well which can be at the top or bottom of the message box.




B. Click in the To Line and type in the email address for support support@slashkey.com


C. Click in the Subject Line and type in a brief description of what the email is about, like Recover my Facebook Farmtown Game

D. In the main blank section just underneath the Subject line is a much bigger blank area. Click in that area to type your message to support containing all the details that you are able to supply:

• the link to your Facebook profile,
• your FarmTown ID if you know it
• and if you are using a different email address than you have used before you also supply the old email address you used if you still know it, even if you don't or can't use it anymore.

To paste your Facebook profile link into your email. Right click your mouse and select Paste and the link you copied will be pasted into your email message.



When you have entered your information, your email could look similar to this.
NOTE: do not copy the Farm Town ID or the email address in this picture, your ID and email address will be different.



E. Once you are sure that your email is correct and all details typed correctly click on Send
NOTE: The Send button may be in different place with other email providers. It could be top or bottom of the message box.

Remember it can take up to 2 days for a reply. Check your Inbox and also your Spam/Junk folder a few times each day.
Some email providers will automatically send emails to Spam/Junk folders and then automatically delete them after a set time and that time can be different with each provider which is why we ask you to check.

Como obtener el Link a su Perfil de Facebook:

1. Inicie sesion en su cuenta de Facebook.


2. Click en la mini foto de perfil en la parte superior derecha.




3. En el menu que se abre, click en su nombre.




4. En la parte superior de su navegador se encuentra la barra de direcciones del navegador.

En la siguiente foto, marcamos con una flecha roja donde se encuentra la barra y el link. Ese link en la barra de direcciones es el link de su perfil de Facebook.

El link de su perfil de Facebook puede contener numeros, o solo un nombre o una combinacion de nombre y numeros a final del link.

En el ejemplo, reeplazamos el ID del usuario con ceros por privacidad.

5. A continuacion debe copiar ese link.

Es su eleccion como copia el link, puede leerlo y tipearlo correctamente en su mail.

O puede iluminarlo y luego copiar y pegarlo en su mail.

O puede iluminarlo y luego usar las teclas de su teclado para copiar y pegar el link en su mail.

Solo mostraremos el metodo de iluminar/copiar/pegar un link, pero tambien puede encontrar estos metodos en varios videos de YouTube.

Para iluminar el link, asegurese de hacer click en el espacio inmediato a la ultima parte del link y se iluminara automaticamente. No haga click en parte del link porque podria iluminarse solo parte del link. Usted necesita que todo el link se ilumine.

El color de iluminacion puede ser diferente al del ejemplo que damos a continuacion.


6. Cuando todo el link esta iluminado....
Click derecho en su mouse sobre el link y luego click en Copy (Copiar) o Copy Link (Copiar Link)
NO ilumine ni copie algo mas hasta que haya pegado el link en su mail.

Ejemplo de como escribir un mail:

Estamos usando Gmail para este ejemplo, otros proveedores de correo tendran una casilla similar para su mensaje:

A. Abra su correo y en la parte superior izquierda podria ver Compose (Redactar) o New Email (Correo Nuevo) o algo similar en lo que puede hacer click para que se abra una casilla de un nuevo mail.




La casilla del mensaje del mail tiene 3 secciones en las que debe tipear.
Tambien vera un boton de Send (Enviar) el cual puede estar en la parte superior o inferior de la casilla.




B. Click en la linea de To (Para) y tipee la direccion de correo de support support@slashkey.com


C. Click en la linea de Subject (Asunto) y tipee una descripcion breve del porque de su mail, por ejemplo Deseo recuperar mis granjas de Facebook

D. La seccion en blanco justo debajo de la linea de Asunto, es mucho mas grande. Click en esa area para tipear su mensaje a support y alli agregue todos los detalles que pueda proporcionar como:

• el link a su perfil de Facebook,
• su numero de ID de FarmTown si lo recuerda o lo conoce
• si esta usando una direccion diferente a la que uso anteriormente con Support, agregue esa direccion antigua aunque ya no tenga acceso a ella o no la use mas.

Para Pegar el link de su perfil de Facebook. Click derecho en su mouse y click en Paste (Pegar) y el link que usted copio se pegara en su mail.



Cuando hay incluido su informacion, su mail podria parecerse a este pero en su idioma.
NOTA: no copie el ID de Farm Town o la direccion de correo de esta foto, su ID y correo seran diferentes.



E. Una vez que este conforme con su mail y revise que la informacion proporcionada es la correcta click en Send (Enviar)
NOTA: El boton Enviar puede encontrarse en otro lugar segun su proveedor de correo. Puede estar en la parte superior o inferior de la casilla.

Recuerde que la respuesta puede tardar hasta 2 dias en llegar. Revise su Bandeja de entrada y su Correo no deseado/Spam varias veces al dia.
Le pedimos que haga esto ya que algunos proveedores de correo tienen un proceso automatico de enviar al Correo No Deseado/Spam ciertos mails recibidos y tambien los borran automaticamente luego de un periodo de tiempo. Ese tiempo varia de acuerdo a los proveedores de correo.
