"What wrong is two issues:
If you have the permissions to design the farm she wants trees on and permission to use her coins then you should be able to BUY new trees from the store using the multi planters that you or she owns.
You should NOT be able to get any of her trees out of her Item Storage. When you are on her farms and open Item Storage you should not be seeing her storage. You should not be able to put those trees that are in her storage on her farms for her. When you open Item Storage on while you are on someone else's farm you should only be able to view what you have in your own Item Storage, not what she has."
I did as you asked and ran the clear cache again, now I was able to use MY purchase tool to complete the top row of trees.
After selecting the last option under the green hand tool, I could still only plant her trees 1 by 1. Picture attached.
