It happened after I clicked the red X - never got as far as the FB popup. Although, like you, I wasn't able to replicate it this morning when I tried. I remember that I checked the "Don't show any more of these" box, then the red X. Was surprised to see it on my wall. Did that same sequence this morning, though, and it worked fine. Sorry I can't give more info.
