there are two minor ways to help with this.. one if they are a neighbor they can come back to your farms through the neighbor link for you to hire for other farms..... if they are not a neighbor when you see they are about to finish before they harvest or plow the last field go ahead and hire them for the next job you have... works for me this way.....
