always thought thanks giving was something to do with turkeys until one of my US neighbours enlightened me last year. Nobody else in the world knows or really cares about thanks giving. Lets keep the specialty things more international. We are already in the throws of Christmas down here so bring it on.

SHOCK, HORROR - I'm agreeing with Scott The US Thanksgiving should be respected, and what's more it's a pity more countries don't recognise such a day in a similar way. If by 'down here' you mean Australia ..... I'm Australian and Christmas is still seven weeks away; the true meaning of it has been commercialised almost to death, and there are those of us who are anything but 'in the throes' of Christmas already.

Now, since Aussies don't have a use for the official Thanksgiving items, please BRING ON OUR CRICKET PITCH for the summer
