i am having the same problem... i go to do a multi hire- the "harvest crops and trees" and "harvest crops and flowers" are already checked, and the helper's tools do not show as being hired for those...

i watered my farm of beets b4 i went to bed last night, so i could harvest for my quest this morning, and they were all dead!!! i have all the sprinklers, including the purple one.
