I've noticed today that I'm not getting notices...

I've noticed today that I'm not getting notices in my tool box when I get a ship in like I've had before. If I don't click on the ship manager, I don't know there's a ship in. Can this be fixed? ...

I was wondering if it's possible to add the ships to the Gifts page like the trains? When I'm traveling, I can still accept a train without having to go into the game.
