I hit my browsers refresh button after...

I hit my browsers refresh button after harvesting/plowing and it saves my points/coins without having to wait on the avatar. But if I hit "Go Home" in farm town it will lose them.

No, he is speaking of once having done all the plowing/harvesting the owner needed he can then leave without having to wait on the character to finish. You can still do this by hitting the refresh...
