Hi.. I have hired 3 different people this morning to harvest in my farms.
The first one, never said thanks etc.. I didn't think too much about it.
--------- The second one harvested everything I hired them to do ON ONE FARM and did nothing on the other 8 farms. They sent me note saying they do not see any rewards. I responded. I ended up refreshing my game. I ended up rehiring same person. They went and did ONE farm and sent note saying there are still no rewards.. I left the game and did my requests for my friends.. then came back and planted some farms.. then went and hired someone new. ------------ The 3rd person came and harvested everything they were hired for ON ONE FARM then stopped. So I went to that farm and asked them if they got any rewards. They did not reply but looks like they are there? So I came here to look if anyone else posted about no rewards.. Went back to check.. He moved to next farm, harvested.. then stopped. I said hello, asked if he was there, no reply. Sent him a note. No reply.. I assume he is/did not get any rewards. But ?? HELP PLEASE.

me again.. I just hired someone else.. I watched the messages as they are working.. they seem to be getting job completion bonuses when moving to next farm.. and now they are done and sent me a message saying thanks/done.. so maybe it is working fine now? .. so?

Hi Sundos,
If they are a neighbor or buddy or you are their neighbor or buddy then they will not get the bonus rewards. Only strangers get those bonus rewards if they complete the whole job on a farm. The ones who did ony one farm and left may have gotten it when they left.

I was harvesting someone farm and I was disconnected. The box to rehire did not pop up. How can I reconnect to the farm I was harvesting when I was disconnected?:(

Hi there,

You would only see the rehire popup message if you were able to return to the game within 10 minutes of being disconnected AND there was still work to be completed that had not already been done by someone else before you were able to reload.

The only other reason you would not see a pop up message in the game was if cookies and pops were blocked in your browser.

I have just tested the rehire and it's showing me the message when there is still work to be completed and I return to the game within 10 minutes.

Farms I Worked At
 

Is there a way to find out which farms I last worked at?
I was working a farm just now and for some reason I was logged out and I never finished the job. I would like to find the user and finish the job or at least let them know what happened.

44 Farms & No XP or Bonus
 

I just finished 44 farms with tons of fishing and trees and I got no XP and no bonus. Anyone know what's going on?

You do get some the xp and product percentage whether you get the bonus or not. If you didn't get the bonus amounts then you were working for a neighbor or buddy. It may be someone who you allowed to add you as a neighbor or buddy, but you didn't add them as one.

When you work for those you do not get the bonus. That is only available if you are working for strangers and hired in the markets or inn.

Hire Timeout
 

I understand that a job hire lasts 8 hours but I was working a farm earlier today and after about 3 hours my hire expired. It happened when I was moving from one farm to the next. I did not think to get the farm id of the farm I was working on at the time.

When this happens is there a way to re-establish that I was hired to work on the person's farms?

Did the hire expire with a pop up saying so or did you just got bumped off of the farm? The hire expires after 8 hours to keep someone from sitting on the farms waiting for more work to get ready that they were not hired for.
I am sorry but there is no way for you to get the id of the farms.

No it did not I was just moving from one farm to the next after redeeming the job completion bonus for the farm I was on and all of the farm navigation squares went green and I had no access to any tools anymore. There was no popups at all. I was still on the farm.

If that is the case they may have hired more than 1 person and they finished the rest of the farms. Beyond that I am not sure what happened, but I don't have any way for you to get back to the job.

There was work on the farms but it was harvesting flowers and they had to be watered first before they could be harvested. There was no one else hired to work the farms. I was solo. I was also disconnected from the server a couple of times while working the farm but reconnected. Could I have been connected to a server in a different timezone than where I am that could have affected the hire timer the last time I had to reconnect?

All the servers for the game are locsted in one location and all are run using eastern time, so no that would not be the reason why.

I get this message occasionally when working for a non-neighbor/non-buddy. It says 'This reward has expired." I don't understand WHY. I collect right after I am done working the farm.

Are you getting that message when you click in the bonus chest icon?

If so, extra coins and products are added no matter the message shows up?

OR you do not get anything when you click in the bonus checst icon and the message shows up?


Or you click in other icon/feature that shows up while you are working?

Sorry for my late reply. It happens when I click on the chest when I'm done with a farm. It just happened again. Just one one of the 44 farms I worked.

I can see in your data that you were working for a farmer and you got the bonus chest.

Are you loading the game from a saved link in your computer? If you do, then please logout and then login using this link:

Then please clear your memcache, link below. A new window will open with a short list of unsettings. Close that window and your farms in all tabs you have it open. Then reopen your farms.

Never recieved my pay
 

I was harvesting/plowing on a farm last night named Hooterville, it was a huge city with piles and piles of trees, plants, flowers etc on top of each other. It was never ending. I kept going thinking I finished the job and it kept saying I won't get the reward until I am done. I was there for 2 whole hours. Some of the plants were buried under the trees and I was unable to harvest them. I reward was up to 400,000.00. I wasted my time and never got the reward. I want this farm to be checked because I think this person is sneaky and cheating so we can do his harvesting and not get paid.

We do not have data about the farms you are hired for if you dont get the bonus chest.

To get the bonus chest, you have to be hired at market by a stranger.

If you start working, and you dont see the bonus chest on the left side of that farm, then it is possible that you were hired by a neighbor or a buddy. That is why you didnt get the bonus chest.

I had a look to your data and yesterday you were hired for a big job, you got coins and products but the farm name is not the one you posted here.

problems when getting hired - using hirers tools not working
 

Farm ID number: 10000006143. I am starting over with the game and very familiar with it. strange things happening when getting hired. Recently someone hired me to use their tools, but it wouldn't let me use their large fishing boat, I was stuck with my 4x4 boat; however last night I was hired for stacked fishing and had no problems at all.

There are several possibilities in this case. Either they didn't own the larger fishing boats, they did not have you allowed to use their tools, or they own the larger fishing boat but did not have it in their storage. All of those depend on the employer and not something wrong with the game.

Ok, thanks. They were not a friend or neighbor so I could only take their word they had a larger fishing boat than me. Thanks for your feedback. That makes more sense.

Sometimes when I'm hired to harvest I get to the first farm and a box pops up and says that I will be paid 50% of the regular pay out. I was just wondering who or what determines this?

There must be a way to tell if a person is a neighbor when in the hiring market. Or make it so neighbors get coins if they work your farm. Maybe neighbors can be outlined in blue or something. Just a thought. I hire those willing to work, I can't remember all my neighbors' names.

When you hire someone at market the request shows you if you are hiring a Neighbor or Buddy and also the farmer receiving the requests is able to see the same.
